Can Curt True Course Sway Control Mount Further Back on Trailer Frame
Updated 11/05/2025 | Published 02/07/2025 >
Question:
All the pictures I see of the Curt True Course Sway Control device show it mounted on the front part of the A frame of the trailer. My question is: Can it be mounted further back under the trailer where it has protection from the weather, as long as the cord is long enough. It has a pretty long cord.

Hey Michael, I checked with Curt and as long as the Curt True Course part # C94VV is mounted vertically on the trailer frame it will work great. So you can move it further back as long as the connector still reaches. Would that work?

Hey Michael, how did it go mounting the Curt True Course further back on your trailer frame? I'm curious if the vertical position worked out and the connector reached as expected. Your update could make it easier for others looking to protect their unit from the weather.
