So i have a 94 Jayco pop up that one of the tail lights got smashed. The company that made those lights is no longer around. After some searching on etrailer.com I decided on these LED lights. Price was right. My only real complaint is that these lights come with nothing. No screws, no instructions, no seals. So when I pulled my old lights and found that they had 4 wires and these lights had 3, time to do some research. None of the wire colors matched up. Not the trailer wires, not the old lights etc. On etrailer there is a video describing the lights in detail. Watch it. He goes over what color wire does what on the new light. I hooked the trailer up to the car to figure out the old lights wiring scheme. I was able to figure it out from there, though you cannot wire both sides up the same, if you do when you put the turn singles on they both flash. I had to leave the brake light wire disconnected on one side. Brake lights still work without it. I used plumbers putty to create a seal. That is also what they used on the originals and I used the original screws to make new holes and mount the lights. All in all it worked out but instructions would have been greatly appreciated!. I am sure etrailer would have jumped in to assist if I asked but it was not needed. Pictures posted. Old lights on bumper for reference.

Tayler at E Trailer was amazing. I purchased a tail light, and after a few months it stopped working. Tayler walked my through a few tests to determine the problem. It was the light. She sent me a new light immediately, free of charge. Great customer service. I will be shopping here again.
Thank you Tayler

Easy to install and pretty much was able to use the existing holes on the camper.

by:

I received the tail lights I needed today, they are exactly what I wanted and appear to be good quality. This was my first time using etrailer.com, it was a very good experience, the items were shipped and received sooner than I expected. I would recommend etrailer as a good source for trailer parts etc.

by:

We accidentally broke the license tag bracket on our camper and needed to replace the entire tail light assembly. An internet search led me to a replacement unit that exactly matched the one on our pop-up, which was available from etrailer.com. Since the replacement light was LED, we replaced the tail light assembly on both sides. Since the screw holes exactly matched, no modification was required, and the installation took about 30 minutes.

Excellent price and quality

by:

I bought these to add on to my existing trailer lights so they would be easily visable above the extras loaded on the rear platform, and so my license plate would not be partially obscured (a violation in many states).
They are just as bright as the original equipment, if not brighter. The only criticism I have is the wiring does not follow the standard color code, so brown to brown etc. did not work. It was easy enough to fix, so wire it then test before you make final connections and seal it up.

by:

Bought this a year ago to replace my regular lights. Much brighter than previous, and still working great! Being LED, bulb will last waaaay longer, and consume less power. In my testing for inside lights, LED bulbs use about 1/4 amp, compared to 1 amp for regular bulbs. I'd imagine the same will hold for these tail lights, or at least similar.

by:

Works well. I don't understand why it was delivered in an open bag packed in box and it appeared it had been used when I assumed I was purchasing a new product. Also I order two fixtures, one with plate bracket with black base color and this one with a white base color.

Needed to replace my camper's tail lights (corroded lamp sockets & cracking housings). Removed the old lights and easily installed the new LED lights. I"m happy with the sturdy construction and bright lights. The only issue was the wiring convention didn't line up with my Forest River camper. I had to switch the tail light and stop light wires.

by:

Quality of these lights is very good! The only negative part of my experience is during installation. These lights do not donform to what I believe is an industry standard regarding the wire colors. I hooked the white, green and black wires to like colors coming out of the RV unit. Much to my dismay, the lighting was reversed (stop/turn illuminates when parking lights should and vice versa). Once I reversed the green and black wires, everything worked as it should. There was no instruction sheet with this shipment so it was not a case of my not following instructions.

by:

lights are nice and bright, however one of the lense 'release' clips on the base broke off during installation. I have a screw holding the lense in place, and it still functions fine. (the clips on the base that hold these lenses on are a molded plastic and broke easily)

by:

Great service, fast shipping. Would recommend to everyone. Now I'll have led lights on my travel trailer. Looked every where for the same low profile lights I have and you had them.

by:

Good replacement lens for the brake light on my travel trailer. The only knock is there isn't a chase for the wires on the backside of the light.

by:

Glad I found this website. I needed replacement tail lights and etrailer was the go-to company. Great customer attention and amazing products delivered in a timely manner.

by:

Exactly what I expected, quality = cost, timely shipment "without a hitch". Now to see if the trailer lights work.....

by:

Found just I was looking for, website is great. My order shipped sooner than I expected and I had it in 3 days. Great service again from etrailer, I will be back.

  • Troubleshooting Trailer Tail Light Wiring
With 3 wires on tail lights, you normally will have one running light wire, one brake light/turn signal wire and a ground wire. You are most likely correct that the two identical color wires will be one for running lights. The purple wire could be a separate ground, or if you have reverse lights will be the reverse light wire. If that is the reverse light, then the tail lights will ground through the mounting hardware so will want to make sure you have a solid metal to metal connection...

  • How to Install Trailer Light with Red, Black, and Green Wires
There is not a standard wire color to function chart on a trailer for anyone to abide by so it will be best to test for function with a circuit tester. In order to check this all you need to do is start the vehicle, plug the trailer connector in, and test each of the wires while the corresponding signal is activated. The light should then specify which wire is for which function but you will again need to test the trailer wiring to determine which color wire has which function. Unfortunately,...

  • Comparing Optronics One LED to Low Profile LED Tail Light
The Low Profile RV Combination Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - 9 Diodes - Passenger Side # RVSTL60 and the ONE LED RV Combination Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - 1 Diode - Passenger Side # RVSTL0060 has the same dimensions so the difference between them is the number of diodes and the brightness of the light.

  • LED Tail Light To Replace Optronics RVSTB60
The RV Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - Rectangle - Red Lens part # RVSTB60 in LED is Optronics LED RV Combination Tail Light w/ Mounting Bracket - 4 Function - 1 Diode - Driver Side part # RVSTL0061 and passenger side part # RVSTL0060. This particular LED light measures 8-5/8" x 3-3/16" which is the same as the incandescent RVSTB60 light. The great thing about LED lights is they last much longer and draw less power than the incandescent options.

  • Troubleshooting Backup/Observation Camera Wiring Where Reverse Light Is Constant With Running Lights
Thanks for the photo and explanation. It sounds like you have connected your camera to the running light circuit which will give you constant power, but it appear one of your other wires is not for your ground connection. Normally white is a ground wire, but on a 3 wire system like you state with reverse light function, one of those wires is dedicated only to reverse power. Your three wires will have the following functions: One is running/park lights One is reverse lights One is combined...

  • Wiring a 3-Wire Trailer Light with White Black and Green Wires
A trailer light with 3 wires, like # RVSTL0060, that are black, white, and green generally the black wire is for running lights, green is for stop and turn signal, and white is for ground. If the old light on your trailer only used 2 wires, then it likely was grounded through the mounting hardware. Which means you'll need to find a good ground bare metal location to connect the white wire to. Make sure you check the function of the trailer's wiring before connecting to the new light...

  • Recommendation for LED Taillight Replacement for Taillight 30-92-003
There isn't an exact LED replacement for the taillight style of the # 30-92-003 but the part # RVSTL0061 is a very similar setup that is LED. For the passenger side (means without license plate bracket) we have the part # RVSTL0060.

  • How to Install a Three Wire Trailer Light
It sounds like your current lights with 2 wires ground to the trailer by the mounting hardware. The One LED RV Passenger Tail Light # RVSTL0060 has three wires, the white wire is the ground, the black wire is the taillight and the green wire is for your stop lights and turn signals. To hook up your lights you will need to splice together the taillight and stop/turn wires. Then you will need to take the white wire and ground it to the trailer itself. To ground your wire you will want to...
