Flexible Brake Hose with 90-Degree Swivel
This Kodiak brake hose is made of rubber, making it a practical choice for a variety of applications. Because you can easily bend it, a rubber hose is simpler to work with than a rigid stainless steel brake line. This flexibility makes a rubber hose great for use with foldaway trailer tongues because it is less likely to kink or break when bent. In addition, rubber hoses allow for a wide range of motion so articulating parts can effectively function. These qualities make rubber hoses better suited than steel lines for trailers with torsion axle suspension systems and trailers that have disc brakes.
And because this hose has a 90-degree fitting on one end, you can install it in tight spaces where there is limited clearance. So you won't have to make a kink in the hose to fit it up against your fender or in any other tight spot.
Stainless steel brake lines have braided exteriors, which can not only wear against exterior surfaces, but also against the interior lining of the hose if dirt gets underneath the steel braid. And if the braid on a stainless steel line tears, it can cut into the hose lining. The exterior surface of this hose is solid rubber, so there are no crevices for debris to enter.
Durable Fittings with Deep Threads
Kodiak brake hoses have corrosion-resistant brass fittings with stainless steel flares. These fittings have a gap built into them that allows room for a line wrench - also called a flare nut wrench - to slide over the line and down to the nut. This type of wrench grips the nut better than a standard open-ended wrench so there is less chance of stripping the threads as you tighten down the nut.
The stainless steel that is used to create the flares on this hose is stronger than brass. As a result, these fittings are more durable than ones made entirely of brass. The stainless flares are primarily designed to keep the fittings from splitting when you tighten them down, but they offer absolute rust protection as well.
Kodiak's fittings have deeper threads than many other fittings on the market to provide a higher thread engagement. Deeper threads offer an advantage when used with fittings that have the same thread depth. These Kodiak fittings will work with most fittings on the market, but when they're used with other Kodiak fittings, the result is a stronger connection with fewer leaks.

Received exact product needed after failure of 6 year old brake hose on 5th wheel trailer. Telephone order with helpful operator ensured UPS used to deliver product to the correct RV park site number. Product was exactly as described by website. Installed without problems. Thank you etrailer.
This was ordered as a replacement for a Dexter brake line that was damaged by a tire blowout. The fit and function were perfect and etrailer's quick service and delivery got us back on the road in short order.
Quick correct service !

Great ! No problem !!!
Post office bounced my package and delayed delivery by 3 days package was at local post office and they shipped it out to distribution center instead of delivering it so had to wait for package to return to local branch to receive it
The brake hoses look to be well built. The female threaded ends are really deep and might not tighten correctly on a standard length male threaded fitting. These fortunately worked on my standard male tee fitting but I had to run them all the way down to the tee shoulder. I was worried the internal inverted flare surfaces would not match up. Will replace the tee with longer male threads if needed.
I needed this part in less than 24hrs. it was delivered and I was able to install it myself and get to my meeting on time. That was one month ago and I have had no brake problems since.
This is the third time in a week I've used ETrailer trying to get my trailer back to road ready after a blowout. They have been awesome, fast delivery and knowledgeable personnel.
I can't see any reason this wont work just fine. It has the required DOT 'approval' stamp and is pretty flexible. With the 90 degree it should screw in the fitting of the brake actuator and make a cleaner bend through the floor of the 5ers basement then the usual hard steel line. I do wish that the rubber cover was a little heavier with some reinforcing ribbing such as what a motor vehicle uses for their hydraulic brakes. Fortunately, it will probably outlast our ownership of the RV

Still working well with the Hydrastar actuator and is holding up well
Nice part! Brass and stainless is way better than zinc plated carbon steel.
Arrived in good condition. These will be kept as spares.
Exact fit. Quick delivery.
Works great with no problems whatsoever.
I love disc brakes on our 5th wheel. I didn't plan on a blowout wrecking a brake hose. My advice is to carry spares. These a great and can save a trip.

These should be mandatory for 5th wheels. Put about 15,000 miles on the trailer with no issues
Fit great. Installed on trailer with all the other brake parts I purchased from you guys. Made for a excellent resurrection of a very neglected trailer. On the road again and safely.

Hasnt been used much as owner blew up his PCM ehgine and I think the whole rig is up for sale, but it stops!
I bought this to keep in our 5th in case of a brake line failure.
I redid the brake system on my bass boat trailer last year, and used the Kodiak brake lines. I couldn't be happier. Great product, great performance, and great customer service.
I replaced metal lines (along with master cylinder and brake assemblies on the axles) on my 30 year old boat trailer that had gotten gunked up over time. These lines were easy to install, easy to secure to the trailer rails, and have performed flawlessly.
I drove the boat to a lake 250 miles away from home last weekend, and it still stops like a dream.
It cma just like the salesperson told us overnight
I recently purchased shoulder bolts for the Dexter brake caliber which came in 3 days down time on my trailer I use for work. Upon completing the Caliper application when bleeding discovered 1 leaking and 1 damaged r rubber line so I ordered 2 which was another 3 days down time then the lines I received needed adapters/reducers as the thread size was not the same to the Caliper which upon ordering took another 3 days of down time. My conclusion is please for business sake return to Will Call pick up, down time kills businesses...
This is the first time I used etrailer. The service was excellent and the product was Exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a brake hose for my 5th wheel, it was easy to order and I received it in a couple of days, I will use them again.
Great, rugged hose that fit my Kodiak hydraulic brakes on a Renegade stacker trailer. Keep in mind your suspension travel when measuring your hose length.
Used this hose to connect my Hydra Star Pump to my 3 axle toyhauler. Made brackets to secure the bottom end of hose to trailer. Just got it hooked up so not sure of vibration but I am comfortable knowing that the hard line will not be subject to vibration and movement. Very Satisfied.
Great Hose! I had to re plumb my boat trailer as the manufacturer left a 6" long brake line unsupported at all to connect to a female/female hose. I tried auto parts stores for a 3/16" IFT male to male connector and all they could offer was the same 6" brake line. This hose will connect directly to the caliper, eliminating the 6" line.
Absolutely fast shipping and great customer service. Mt order was actually processed on a Saturday after I ordered on Friday night!l
Needed parts fast. No one local had it. Was shipped quickly and exactly what I needed. Thanks a ton!
I have to say the team at ETRAILER gave me a very good service. One of the parts was not available but they suggested a replacement. These products looks very good. Only Use them only on a small trip (30 miles) but already can feel the difference. feeling more secure when braking. Two thumbs up for everything. Thank you very much for everything. Sorry for lack of photos was late in season .
