Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at the etrailer Round Pipe Mounted Swivel Jack with footplate included. Now, this is a pretty heavy duty jack for your trailer. In fact, this can support 3,000 pounds and it also can lift 2,000. So, for a trailer like this it should be perfectly matched up.
And on a smaller trailer, this should be more than enough. Now, this is a solid steel construction. And the great part is it has zinc plating on it. So, as this trailer sits outside a bunch, I don't worry about the elements really breaking down and it's gonna look really nice. It's not gonna be corroded over time.
And that also means that this can be used in marine applications. So, if you're putting one on your boat trailer, it should work fine. The top lines are nice and ergonomic with a good handle here, but something to keep in mind when mounting it up you wanna make sure that you have enough clearance so you're not hitting your knuckles or the fact that it can actually rotate fully. Another nice feature is the included footplate is one piece welded together and that way it stays with the jack the entire time. Now being a swivel jack, it's really nice for when you are hooked up to your vehicle and you're ready to stow this for driving.
You just pull this pin. It's gonna rotate here. And then we'll just put that pin back in place. You can also see there's a chain attached to it all. And that way it stays with the jack the entire time.
Now, installation can be as simple as the way we rotate it by pulling this pin and then we'll just pull this out. And you'll see this one has had the pipe already welded on but not to worry, it does include the pipe. That way you can weld it onto your trailer. Now, this does have quite a bit of travel as well. So, this is gonna be fully retracted to 16 inches and then you can extend it out. It's gonna be 31 inches for a total of 15 inches of travel. As far as maintenance of the jack, it's gonna be super simple with the zerk fitting already installed. So, just a little spurts of some grease here and there and it should be just fine. Used these as tail jacks on a car trailer to avoid overloading rear axle when loading or unloading, worked great
The only reason I didn’t give a five star is because only time will tell how the jacks hold up. Overall so far the jack looks like a good product.
This item has been sold as part of a unit item to a customer. As far as we know there have not been any issues. The customer has not been in contact with us concerning this item.

Was able to mount this jack onto my ExMark HD Zero turn mower. now it is not a big production to raise the mower to remove the blades. Very safe.

I bought this swing away jack for my Toro lawn mower. Toro wanted $125 for their jack because it said TORO on it! This jack was 1/3 the price and works great. Getting under the deck now is easier than ever before. Great jack at a great price!!
