Video Transcript for Round, Pipe Mount Swivel Jack w/ Footplate Spec Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at a round pipe-mount swivel jack with the included footplate. This utility jack is going to let you raise and lower your trailer. It's going to have a lift capacity of 7,000 pounds and a support capacity of 8,000 pounds. It's also going to feature the tubular swivel design. That's going to let you swing the jack up along the trailer frame for storage, and then you can easily bring it back down when you're ready to use it. It's going to come with a pull pin that's going to hold the jack in either position. That's going to be connected to the jack with a chain lanyard.

That way you don't have to worry about misplacing that or losing it, and it's going to come with a weld-on pipe mount. This is included. It gets welded to the trailer frame, the jack portion right here, the bracket sits inside of there, and it allows it to rotate inside of it and swivel around. This is going to have an outer diameter from outer edge to outer edge of 3 inches, and inner diameter from inside edge to inside edge of 2-1/2 inches. It's raw steel, so it's prepped and ready to be welded onto your trailer right away, so a really nice design. Again, that is included. The jack is also going to feature a nice sidewind handle.

This is going to make raising and lowering the jack very easy. It seems like it has a nice consistent feel to it. I don't feel any kinking or binding, a nice fluid motion, very easy to raise and lower. The handle radius on the unit if we take a measurement from the outer edge of the hand grip, this point here, to the center of where it mounts, we can see that that's going to give us a handle radius of about 8-1/4 inches. The jack is made from a steel construction. The outer tube is going to feature a really nice durable black powder coat finish.

It's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion, and the inner tube and the footplate are going to feature a clear zinc finish, which is also highly resistant towards rust and corrosion. Now the footplate is welded to the bottom of the inner tube. It's a nice large size. Taking a measurement this way, it's going to measure right around 8 inches. Going this direction, we're looking at about 6 inches. The nice large size is going to do a great job at spreading out the applied weight even on softer ground, which is going to help prevent sinking, and it's also going to increase overall stability. Maintenance for the jack is pretty simple.

Right here, there's going to be an included Zerk fitting. That way, all you have to do is attach your grease gun, pump the grease in and lubricate the internal components. A few of the measurements I want to give you real quick. I want to give you the retracted bracket height, so measuring from the base or the bottom of the footplate to the center of the weld-on bracket, with it fully retracted as low as it will go, that's going to give us a measurement of, it looks to be around 10-3/8th inches. Now this jack is going to have a travel of about 10 inches, so with it fully extended, that measurement is going to increase to about 20-3/8th inches. The outer tube of the jack is going to have a diameter of 2-1/4 inches and the inner tube is going to have a diameter of 2 inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the round pipe mount swivel jack with the included footplate. Again, it's going to have a lift capacity of 7,000 pounds and a support capacity of 8,000 pounds.

Works well on the hitch of Haybuster bale processor. Like the bigger weld on part for mounting to machine. Cranks easy and has a nice big foot print.

Talking with Daniel I was able to explain to him what I was looking for for a jack for my 10 foot brush hog and he was able to check the specifications and come up with the proper jack. Fast delivery great to work with.

It's a very well designed and built product. The additional reach of the jack makes it easy to hook up, uneven ground is no problem with this jack and no more putting blocks under it to raise your trailer high enough because it has the reach!! A great product!!

by:

Rebuilding a used trailer with no idea what axles it had. Contacted customer service and they walked me through getting the right brake kits, bearings, and hubs..excellent customer service

by:

All new wiring on a trailer rebuild. These junction boxes make the job so much easier and faster. Now when i troubleshoot wiring issues im chasing one wire at a time. Oh and now the wiring goes in a location that works for me

I have one of these that is several years old. I needed a second and wanted them to match. Paid a little more to get the identical jack. The grease fitting is a nice touch. 30 years ago I had a top wind that required annual disassembly and greasing the screw or it would bind up. The new one with the grease fitting simplifies the task.

by:

I needed my tall jack as soon as possible. Etrailer come through as the winner. I received it quick and just as described.

by:

I made a trailer and mounted my sawmill on it. I purchased 6 trailer jacks to use as leveling system. They are holding up well supporting the trailer, sawmill and heavy logs.

by:

These work great for keeping my trailer level with the front jacks and stable for loading and unloading without having to keep my pickup hooked to my trailer

by:

Built a kayak trailer and welded it on. Has preformed great!

by:

Exactly what I ordered

by:

Works very well for our application. Leveling heavy steel tables for production process. Smooth action when cranking handle and also firm stable base when foot is planted. Would highly recommend this product.

by:

Just what the doctor ordered to stabilize the cargo trailer.

by:

Just what I ordered and now the cargo trailer is stabilize. Thank you.

by:

Have had these jacks on my off-road trailer for about a year now and they're still great. I turn them 90 or 180 degrees and leave them on the trailer while driving and they've held up just fine. They get dirty and I just wipe them down, haven't had any issues with binding or anything like that. I have one on each corner of the trailer and they make leveling a breeze. They are not 100% tight, there is some play in them, but that said I have had zero problems getting my trailer level and stable.

by:

I welded this jack onto the 6x2 frame with the mounting bracket rotated flange down for better support and slightly increased height. Jack performs well under load.

by:

Works perfect
Log splitter weighs a
ton!
Now it's easy to hook and unhook.
Thanks so much!
