Today we'll be taking a look at the Square Direct-Weld Jack with Footplate. This top-line style jack is going to help us lift and lower our trailer whenever we're ready to use it, or unload and reload. So flip the handle up and operate that jack. It has a nice easy-to-grip handle here. So it's a pretty nice wide handle. You can get a good grip on there to wind your jack up or down. This is going to have a lift capacity of 7,000 pounds and a static capacity or support capacity of 8,000 pounds.
It does come with the welded-on footplate at the bottom to help disperse out the weight and make sure that we don't sink into any softer ground, like gravel, sand, or loose dirt.It comes with a pin and clip to adjust the height on that footplate. So we'll get some additional lift from that drop leg. There are going to be five adjustment holes there, and those are each spaced apart by 3.5 inches. I'll put my pin back in place and then we'll go over some measurements. Just get that clip back on there. Now, whenever this is fully retracted, like it is here, it's going to have a total height from the bottom of the footplate to the top of the handle mount of 24 and a quarter inches.
Again, when it's retracted. When it's all the way extended out, it's going to be 39.5 inches. So our total lift is 29 inches. The screw travel or the amount of travel that we get from the internal components is 15 and a quarter inches. Our drop leg gives us a total travel of 13 and three-quarters inches.
Again, our lift capacity, 7,000 pounds, support capacity is 8,000. The outer tube measures two and a quarter inches wide. The inner tube measures two inches wide. Our footplate measures seven and seven-eighths inches long by five and seven-eighths inches wide. The handle has a radius of nine and three-quarters inches. That's going from where it mounts, the center of the jack, to the outside edge of the handles that lets you know how much area you need around the jack for that to get a full swing.
So that's nine and three-quarters inches. The whole spacing, again, for our drop leg, in between each one is 3.5 inches. The handle, the footplate, and the inner tube all have a zinc coating to help resist any kind of rust and corrosion. And it also has a grease Zerk on the front there so that you can get that lubricated and keep everything working nice and smooth. It is a weld-on application. And that's going to do it for our look at the Direct-Weld Jack with Footplate.

I installed it further back so the tailgate would clear when lowered. This is a great upgrade over the original jack.
Works great. Nice and easy to lift and lower my trailer.
I bought 2 of these jacks to mount on the rear of my car hauler. I got tired of using wood blocks to stabilize it. Now I can even elevate the whole thing to service the bearings and brakes, using the tongue jack and the rear jacks!
I would definitely buy these again.
I do wish it had a grease zerk.
Best customer service!
This is a fine piece of equipment.
Everything worked out good and got product very next day. Great people to work with and great shipping.
This was a great product and shipped out quickly.
Smooth action and is working great. The only suggestion is to have a grease cert on it would be nice.

These are sweet jacks. I installed a pair on the rear of my 20ft bumper pull equipment trailer. These things will lift the entire trailer off the ground. Comes in handy changing flats. The reason I installed them was to stop the bobcat from lifting my truck off the ground when loading. Got tired of carrying 6x6 blocks to put under the rear of the trailer. I really like the swing feature. When stowed I crank them against the tail light bracket to keep them quiet.

I bought two of these jacks. One for a bale processor and one for a 10' John Deere rotary mower. Both jacks have held up very well. The one for my bale processor has been a great help to me. In the past I had a hard time finding a jack that would work on all the uneven ground that I had to deal with. I had actually thought about buying another of these jacks for our boom sprayer.

Used 2 of these pipe mount swivel jacks on the back of a 16k gvw sure trac dump trailer to stabilize the rear of the trailer when loading and unloading equipment. Without these jacks the trailer rear end would go down when pulling a 10k bobcat up the equipment ramps and the truck pulling the trailer would go up dual tires and everything , not good. Excellent sizing, price, and build quality, would recommend to a friend

Had this welded on to my old trailer that did not have a jack. Plenty of power to raise my flatbed trailer with a compact tractor on it. Small price to pay for making my trailer so much easier to use. It's nice that it pivots to run perpendicular to the trailer.

Been usin these for a year now and love them! Never have had one issue with them. Since the mini off rd camper sits on 35" tires and a spring over the drop down extended legs are perfect. I would recommend to anyone who needs the extra length for a high riding trailer or camper.

Very good, weld on. Only complaint is the slop between the mounting male bracket and female. It causes the camper to lean typically to the drivers side. I’m going to try welding some beads around the male side and build it up to get rid of the slop.

I ordered the etrailer jack because it was considerably less than the Bulldog brand jack. I received my order very quickly. When I opened the package I was quite taken back by the quality of the Jack as well as the other items I ordered.
