With a jack on each side of your trailer, it's easy to get it up off the ground for routine maintenance or a roadside emergency. The bolt-on mounting plates give you a lot of freedom to place the jacks where you want them, with no welding.

Hello neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our etrailer dual-swivel jack with bolt-on mounting plate kit. Folks, these are two side wind jacks rated at 3000 pounds each with a 10 inch lift capacity. So folks, what we've done here is made a kit for you that you can help stabilize the rear end of your trailer while you're loading and unloading your ATVs, maybe a lawnmower or something of that nature. It's potentially gonna be a smaller trailer most likely just because of the size and weight ratings.
But a lot of times when you're loading a trailer, if you've got the tow vehicle here, when you're loading up the back, you're causing it to kinda pull up on the back bumper-ish area. But if you have these two stabilized jacks on the back end of your trailer, now it's gonna stay solid while you're loading and unloading. It's gonna keep your ramps in place so they're not jumping up and down when you get to that critical point when you're going up and over the end, it's gonna stabilize the whole trailer and thus prevent pulling up on the back end of your vehicle and causing stress and strain there where you really don't want it anyways. And it could potentially double as maybe a jack whenever you're changing out a flat tire. So if you have this positioned in the right place behind the rear axle of that smaller trailer, you could potentially use this, lift that side of the trailer up off the ground and change out that flat tire.
Now, what you're gonna get in this kit is you're gonna get the two jacks. You're gonna get the two weld on pipe mounts that come with those jacks, but more importantly, you're gonna get etrailer's two bolt-on mounting plates. So the way these mount on, if this was your trailer frame, this comes up underneath the trailer frame, you got two holes here, you'd use a center punch, mark those hole locations, drill those out per the instructions with the correct drill bit size, and then you'll put a bolt through each side and secure it, pinching the frame safely and securely. Now when that's in place, you've simply used that pivot point versus this weld on one. You could still potentially use this somewhere else, but these, you don't have to weld on.
So you'd have this in place on the trailer frame, and then if you're using it, it'd be down like this. And if you had to swivel it up out of the way, you could swivel it up out of the way for going down the road normally. And then obviously you'd put your safety pin back in whenever you're using it to make sure it's not swiveling and everything. So what I like about this kit is again, you don't have to do any welding. So potentially, again, you wouldn't use these two weld on pipe mounts, you would just use the bolt-on ones.
But if eventually you wanna get these welded on in another location on your trailer, you could do that as well and then have up to four locations potentially that you could mount one of these swivel jacks and use. Now, these jacks are very nice and robust. They have a nice black powder coat finish on the outer metal tube. All the silver looking metal pieces here are zinc coated, so you don't have to worry about corrosion, rust, those kind of things. And they also have a nice greaser out here in the back on both jacks. That way you could do your regular maintenance, you know, putting grease in there to keep all the gears and everything up here in the head assembly nice and freely moving. So again, side wind jacks, super easy to go up or down, you just simply crank. Again, you're gonna get 10 inches of travel with these jacks. The foot plates are seven inches long by four inches wide. And these outer tubes are pretty standard. The outer tube here is two and a quarter inches outside, and the inner diameter of this black tube is two inches. And I just showed you that marries up with these just perfectly. Now, the handle here is about 8 1/8 inches long. So make sure whenever you're mounting this you have enough clearance around fenders, those kind of things to be able to crank that when it's down and in place. Like I said before, the capacity of these jacks are 3000 pounds each. And the support capacity, the static support is 5,000 pounds. Now, on this mounting plate, this plate is gonna fit a cross-section depth of three inches or less. So nothing over three inches. And it's five inches wide, four and a quarter inches tall, and about two inches deep. Same thing, It has a nice black powder coat finish so you don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, and that kind of stuff as well. So folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Just a quick look at our etrailer dual-swivel jack with bolt-on mounting plate kit here. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching. And as always, stay safe while you're towing.
Fast
Perfect thank you
very good quality and does the job!
Perfect Fit! These work great and were reasonably priced from etrailer!
Strong and accurate adjustments.
Very robust and excellent design
Easy install. I installed one on each corner of my 7.4x16 enclosed trailer with the help of my 4 year old. It took a while, but I blame him ??. One handle had a chip broken off, but super glue fixed it. Directions were spot on and shipping was fast!
Product seems to be quality only issue was my package was ripped open and half the product was sticking out. So maybe just a little more quality shipping.
Heavy duty and has a grease zerk to keep up with gear maintenance.
Pretty good jack and easy instal. Jack and mount has a little too much play, more than I expected. Didn’t like the pin it came with so replaced with one I had where I use a linchpin to unlock versus the spring and ball pin it came with.
Stout!!, heavy in hand, should do the job quite adequately. I would like to see the lock washer and simple nut replaced with a steel lock nut, which would make it less likely to vibrate loose as these are not usually installed and uninstalled on a regular basis. Once in place they’re there so a lock washer to me (and I’ve seen them fail) presents a weak point in the entire assembly .
This is the best package I could find for my DK2 5x7 utility trailer. There is not a lot of space between the rear light and fender for jacking the rear to load snowmobiles and drop anywhere without nose lifting. There are sturdy and the mounts are solid with bolted installation.
I had to do some extra work to accommodate my small trailer. The exposed frame height on the sides were a little short for the mount bracket flange lip to lay flush against the underside of the frame. The side panel blocks full purchase, so I used an angle grinder with metal cutting and grinding discs to cut a small slit into the side panel. This allows the mount to lay flush against the side of frame with flange lip supporting the bottom. See pictures.
I'm very happy with the positioning because it allows jacking the wheels instantly if needed. It also can support the trailer while loaded. The two jacks mounted on the side are suitable to lift trailer off ground in conjunction with a properly rated nose mount in my case with loads not exceeding 1 ton.
My minor gripe is that the jack lift lever sticks out just a touch beyond the fender. It is still well within the confines of legal width for highway, so may add some reflective tape to the handle just for extra caution.
Overall, very happy with this purchase and could not find a better option for this trailer.
Just as promised. These are a life saver loading a tractor. Killed 2 bits drilling through the steel but thats what i get buying cheap Menards bits.

Is it really saving big money if you have to go through 2 bits Michael? As soon as I read the store name the jingle instantly played in my head. Either way, you got the job done and it looks great!
Out of the box the jacks look and feel very sturdy, I placed the jack with bracket under the rear of cargo trailer and the crank operated very smoothly, the trailer easily began to lift, it’s nice that it does have a grease fitting for adding grease, in a couple of days I will be drilling the holes in frame to mount the brackets
Wish I would of went this route right away. Had purchased different jacks from a local hardware store. With the handle on top. That icould get to work. These with the L braket and side crank was the way to go.
I give a 10 Star it’s a heavy item well made. For the price you can’t go wrong a nice little jack. I be using it to jack up the trailer for a flat tire ( works great )

That is great to hear, and it looks awesome on your trailer. I am glad you were able to find a fit for your setup that makes life a bit easier! Even if there were some slight modifications needed. Some reflective tape may be the way to go. Snowmobiles?? Where are you located that you use those a lot?
