It bolted right on trailer and works/cranks easily. Nice it's greaseable as my trailer lives outside.

by:

Great Jack. Works flawlessly. They shipped my order very rapidly the Jack was spot on in the decryption.

by:

I modified spare tire location (needed more tongue weight), so replaced top mount crank jack with side wind version. Shipping speed was upgraded sans asking and received item just before my next trip. Installed in 5 minutes and jack is much more ergonomic than original. Whenever I need anything trailer or pick up truck related, I don't even bother shopping around, for etrailer pretty much has everything! Customer service is outstanding even with returns or replacements. Completely satisfied with product and service.
Thanks for everything Etrailer

Still working fine. Smooth and easy operation. I seriously doubt that I’ll have any issues with the side wind trailer jack.

by:

Simple, strong, and reliable

by:

Work perfectly for the application we intended, as risers for a 30’ belt!

by:

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

by:

Jack was good product

by:

This is a sturdy and easy to use manual jack. It is replacing a failed electric jack, and I am glad to have a manual jack of this high quality. It is the perfect size for my 3500 lb Rockwood Travel Trailer.

by:

Installed easy and has been working flawlessly. Had next day delivery.

by:

The TJA-5000S-B jack I ordered was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. The photos show the old jack and the new jack that I needed so that I could mount 2 bikes on front of my Forrest River A-frame camping trailer.

by:

I've had this installed on my utility trailer for about a year now. It works great. I've had some pretty big loads in it and have had no issues raising and lowering it with this jack.

by:

Package came very quick. Went right on to my trailer. The foot that "matched" the jack I bought did not work. Had to run to a local store and get one that would.

by:

Great product

by:

Works as advertised. Definitely a great price on this jack.. I use it daily on a 20ft trailer.. lets see how long it last me..

by:

A long search for an American made jack led me to etrailer.com. Turns out the jack was made in China. Disappointed!!

We love to offer parts that are made in the USA. We do not offer a similar jack that is USA made however on any part that is, it will be listed on the product page as Made in USA.

by:

Product came on time, as advertised. Had a hard time believing the low price!! My old jack was so damaged I had to persuade it off with hammer and chisel, but then this jack went on in minutes. Functions smoothly. Couldn't be happier. etrailer has all my future trailer business. Five Stars.

by:

The replacement tongue jack fit perfectly (hole alignment) and the movement is back to the way the original jack worked when brand new. Haven't used it in its full range yet, but so far looks promising. Just a little concerned about the top cover of the jack which appears that it would let rain water into the gear box. I applied a quart size zip lock bag which should keep the rain out.

by:

Works as intended. I have it on a small 20ft camper that weighs about 4k Lbs. I recommend adding grease and an adjustable bottom with a quick release pin.

1 year later still working. No problems.

by:

Excellent service nothing but good thin gs

by:

Jack works fine, but arrived with several dings and chips in paint. I realize it will probably get that way eventually anyway, but would expect it to arrive looking new.

These jacks arrive to us in large pallets which unfortunately does mean they are not in the best shape. I am happy to have Customer Service contact you.

by:

Worked perfectly. Easy to weld up and strong as ever!

by:

Easy installation! Just three bolts and back in action...

by:

VERY PROMPT SERVICE

by:

I bought this for a basketball goal replacement and it worked out GREAT!! It raises the backboard with ease, and my 8 year old daughter loves it. It shipped out faster than I was expecting, and it arrived in just a few days. Awesome job towards Etrailer!!!!!!
I will definitely recommend Etrailer to anyone !!

by:

I love it. The side turn handle is great. I put the flip footer on it and it works great.

  • Recommended Trailer Jack Options For 1993 Jayco Eagle Camper
For your 1993 Jayco Eagle camper weighing 6800 lbs, I am not sure if you need an A-frame tongue jack for a travel trailer, replacement landing gear for a 5th wheel, or stabilizer jacks. The side jack makes me think 5th wheel or stabilizer jack but I will give all recommendations. If your 1993 Jayco Eagle is a 5th wheel trailer, I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set - Weld On - 34-7/8" Lift - 5,500 lbs # LG-1. This landing gear has a leg length of 29-1/2 inches with...

  • Where Is The VIN Number on a Sure Trac Utility Trailer Found?
That is a good question. Usually a utility trailer's VIN number will be found on the frame near the trailer tongue but it actually can be printed anywhere on the frame. It may also be on a sticker that carries the manufacturer name and trailer model information. That sticker may be positioned in an out of the way location to protect it from wear from regular use and road hazards. It should be a 17 character VIN. In cases of trailers that have no VIN, your local state police or highway...

  • Footplate Recommendation for the etrailer Round A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B
I believe you are looking for a footplate for the etrailer Round A-Frame Jack, # TJA-5000S-B. If so, then you can use the Footplate for 2,000-lb and 5,000-lb Round, A-Frame Jacks # JF-99. This foot plate attaches to the inner jack leg using included pin. Since you will be installing this jack on a dump trailer, I recommend using the Bottom Support Plate for 2-1/4" OD A-Frame Jacks - 5,000 lbs # JSP-100. Dump trailers can be loaded pretty heavy, and this plate will help support the jack...

  • Can Handle be Moved to Opposite Side of etrailer 5K A-Frame Trailer Jack
The etrailer trailer jack # TJA-5000S-B was not specifically designed to move the handle to the opposite side but you technically could do that. Another option is to use a top wind jack so that the handle doesn't get in the way of anything forward of the jack (assuming you leave the handle pointed away from a possible obstruction). For a top wind 5K A-frame jack, you can use the Buyers Products A-Frame Jack w/ Support Foot - 15" Travel - 5,000 lbs # 3370091265.

  • Recommended A-Frame Trailer Tongue Jack for the Demco Trailer Coupler Part # DM15337-97
I do have an a-frame trailer tongue jack that will work with the Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # DM15337-97 but the Square A-Frame Jack part # TJDA-5000S will not due to its square shaped design. Instead, I recommend using the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack part # TJA-5000S-B which has specifications that are very similar to the above jack. I have attached a review video of both the trailer jack and trailer coupler for you as well.

  • A-Frame Jack Recommendations with High Capacity and High Lift
I believe your best option would be the etrailer.com Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind # TJA-5000S-B. This A-frame jack has a 5,000 lb capacity and has 15 inches of lift. There is no way to remove the handle or any of the other 5k jacks so that it could be operated with a power drill. A powered jack like the part # SC63VR might be a better option. This is the highest rated powered jack we have at 4,500 lbs and has 23 inches of lift. I attached a review video for you to check out.

  • Replacement A-Frame Jack for 6750 lb Travel Trailer
From your description, it sounds like you're needing an A-frame jack. Given the weights you've provided, your trailer likely has a maximum tongue weight of around 1000 lbs. I typically recommend folks go with the heaviest capacity jack they can, this makes for easy operation and long life for the trailer jack because it's only using a percentage of its capacity. The etrailer.com # TJA-5000S-B with its 5000 lb capacity would be a great choice. The bracket to the top of the jack is similar...

  • Trailer Jack to Avoid Tailgate Clearance Issues
There are a few solutions for your tailgate to clear the jack on your trailer. I recommend to use a longer ball mount like # D-26, that would move the trailer back further away from the truck and give you clearance you need. If you know what size the hitch on your vehicle is, the rise or drop of the ball mount for your trailer, if you're using weight distribution or not, and the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole I can make the best recommendation...

  • Replacement A-Frame Trailer Jack
Your best option is to replace the jack and drill 3 new holes into the trailer. A-frame jacks have a standard bolt pattern that's roughly 3 inches on center from hole to hole. Generally the holes on the jack are slotted to allow for slight variances in the measurement and different hole sizes. Our most popular electric A-frame jack is the Stromberg Carlson # SC63VR. It has stops to prevent overextending or retracting - which is the cause of failure on most jacks. If you prefer a manual...

I have a solution for you, you will need to get the etrailer Round, A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced, and then you will need to install a Pro Series 6", Detachable Caster w/ Pin for 2" Diameter Jacks - 1,200 lbs # PS1400750340. The # BTJA-5000S-B has a 5,000 lb capacity, and the # PS1400750340 has a capacity of 1,200 lbs you would have a jack setup with 15 inches of rise, 1,200 lb capacity and has a caster wheel.

Since your 2005 Coachmen Spirit of America Travel Trailer uses an A-Frame jack, I recommend the etrailer.com Round, A-Frame Jack # TJA-5000S-B which has a maximum weight capacity of 5000 lbs which will be more than enough for your trailer since it is not lifting the full weight of your trailer. All A-frame mounted jacks like the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B use the same 3-inch mounting hole bolt pattern. In other words, the mounting holes are a universal size and pattern so that any A-Frame jack will fit into any A-Frame jack mount. As long as your trailer has an A-Frame jack mount, this jack will fit.
