Keep Grease Inside and Water Out: Double Lip Seal Design

When you're cruising down the highway or tackling rugged roads, keeping your trailer’s internals safe is crucial. The Grease Seal GS-2125DL features a double lip design, ensuring that grease stays inside while water and dirt are kept at bay. This design makes it a dependable choice for those who need maximum protection and want to avoid the hassle of frequent maintenance.

Precision Fit for Dexter Axles: Exact Inner and Outer Diameter

Got a Dexter axle between 5,200 and 7,000 lbs? The GS-2125DL is crafted to fit precisely with a 2.125" inner diameter and a 3.376" outer diameter. This exact match ensures easy installation and a firm fit, helping you keep your wheels rolling smoothly without any unexpected wobbles or leaks.

Reliable Cross-Compatibility: Perfect Replacement

Whether you’re replacing an old single lip seal like the 10-1 or aftermarket options, the GS-2125DL works seamlessly as a reliable replacement. Its compatibility ensures that it meets the standards of well-known brands like Dexter, Transcom, and even Chicago Rawhide, solving the problem of mismatched or ill-fitting seals.

Durable and Long-Lasting: Built for the Long Haul

Don't settle for parts that wear out quickly. GS-2125DL users rave about its longevity, noting that it's often better than the original single lip designs they replace. With feedback showing that it stands the test of multiple years and thousands of miles, you can trust this seal to stick with you through long journeys and heavy use.

User-Approved Smooth Installations: Easy as 1-2-3

No one wants to spend hours in the garage. The GS-2125DL’s design offers an installation process that many users find straightforward and headache-free. With the correct dimensions, most installations are a smooth experience, letting you spend more time on the road and less beneath the trailer.

  • Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System Compatibility with Aluminum I-Beam Trailer Frame
The Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Lift Spindle - Off-Road Tires - 3,500 lbs # ASR35HDS02 is compatible with I-beam frames and in tandem axle configuration. Due to the Aluminum frame, I recommend putting a thin rubber pad between the steel mount and the aluminum I-beam. The powder coat on the steel should keep the two dissimilar metals from galvanic corrosion, but a thin rubber pad would drastically increase this safety. Zinc plated hardware will work well with...

  • Replacement Trailer Brake Assemblies for AxleTek B12EA-22
Hey Josh, the replacement for your existing B12EA-22 brake would be # AKEBRK-7R-SA for the right side and # AKEBRK-7L-SA for the left. There are two sizes of grease seals that fit 7k axles and there isn't a rhyme or reason as to which you may have/need. So if the spindle diameter if 2.2250 inch where the seal rides the correct seal you would need is the part # GS-2250DL or if it's 2.125 inch you'd instead need the part # GS-2125DL.

Hey Steve, Thank you for that information you provided, it sets me up to get you the direct replacements. For that replacement brake assembly you will want to go with the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Brakes # 23-458-459. This is the left and right hand assemblies that came originally on the trailer, ready to slide on and bolt on for you. We have the hub and drum assemblies as well that are pre greased with the bearings, races and seals already in them ready to slide on. For that you want to...

  • Looking For Bearing Kit For 2017 EZ Loader Trailer With 5,200 lb Axles
Hello John, thanks for reaching out.The model number of your EZ Loader Trailer does indicate a 5,200 lb axle rating. The 5,200 lb axles do use a standard bearing combination, the # 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) inner bearing and the # LM67048 (1.25" inner diameter) outer bearing. That said, there are two common seal sizes that can go with this bearing combination, and regrettably, there is no way for me to look up your trailer to know the seal size. The trailer manufacturer may be able...

  • Economical Option for Trailer Wheel With 5 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern and Trailer Tires
It sounds like you are just looking for the most economical way to add trailer tires and wheels with a 5 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern but are concerned they won't fit when you replace your axle. Realistically this is a valid concern and your axle may in fact not have spindles that accept a hub with the same 5 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern so you may need to get new wheels and tires when you decide to do that. For now, the most economical option for you to wheels and tires is first with the Modular...

  • How Much Pressure is Required to Install a Trailer Grease Seal
For starters, the grease seal installs on the trailer hub, not the spindle. It should be a rather tight fit and usually requires a hammer and block of wood to install. In order to make sure you have the correct one, you will need to measure the outer diameter of the spindle and then the inner diameter of the trailer hub where the grease seal sits. These measurements will need to be taken with a digital caliper to the nearest thousand of an inch. If you can let me know what the above two...

The only way to confirm this is look for a part number on your current seal, or use digital calipers # PTW80157 to measure the location of the spindle shown in the diagram.
