Looking For Bearing Kit For 2017 EZ Loader Trailer With 5,200 lb Axles

Updated 07/26/2024 | Published 07/23/2024

Question:

I have a 2017 EZ Loader trailer VIN : 1ZEZLJVT6HA009246 Model : TOEM102 21-24 5200. The data sheet shows both 5,000 Lb. and 5,200 Lb. capacity. I would like to purchase a couple of complete bearing sets bearings, race, seal etc. as I will be traveling 5,000 miles through Canada soon. Is there any way you could provide me with the part numbers without me having to disassemble one and take measurements. Thanks, John

Hello John, thanks for reaching out.The model number of your EZ Loader Trailer does indicate a 5,200 lb axle rating. The 5,200 lb axles do use a standard bearing combination, the # 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) inner bearing and the # LM67048 (1.25" inner diameter) outer bearing.

That said, there are two common seal sizes that can go with this bearing combination, and regrettably, there is no way for me to look up your trailer to know the seal size. The trailer manufacturer may be able to provide this info if you provide the VIN, but this is not something that is publicly accessible.

The seal will be a 3.376" outer diameter and the inner diameter will be either 2.125" or 2.25". Aside from removing a hub and pulling the seal, there is really no other way to determine this. What I usually recommend doing in this case is getting the bearing kit # BK3-300 which comes with the 2.25" seal, then getting an individual 2.125" seal part # GS-2125DL. This way you are guaranteed to have what you need one way or another.
