This tire-and-wheel combo is built for real towing conditions. The Loadstar ST175/80D13 bias tire carries up to 1,360 lbs at 50 psi and is rated for 81 mph (speed rating M). The matching 13" x 4-1/2" steel wheel supports up to 1,660 lbs and meets Department of Transportation specs, so you can count on dependable performance mile after mile.
The bias construction uses thick nylon cords set at a 30- to 45-degree angle in alternating layers, giving the sidewalls the stiffness needed to handle uneven surfaces without flexing excessively. The advanced rubber compound improves tread wear and lowers rolling resistance for a smoother, more stable experience both on and off paved roads.
Rust doesn’t stand a chance against the dual-layer protection on this steel wheel. An e-coat primer seals the metal against moisture, then a white powder coat adds a clean look and long-term corrosion resistance. It keeps its finish sharp even after repeated exposure to water or road grime.
This assembly comes pre-mounted and aired to proper pressure, so it’s ready to install right away. That saves setup time and ensures even seating on the rim for a solid, balanced ride right from the start. The combination of the Loadstar tire’s flatter tread profile and bias construction delivers excellent stability under load without harshness over bumps.
With a standard 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, zero offset, and a 3.19" pilot diameter, this wheel mounts easily on many trailer hubs. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, making it simple to torque down securely to the recommended 75–85 ft-lbs before your first trip.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"
