Fit around axle is good but bolts could stand to be at least an inch longer, only tighten up flush with plate under my 5 leaf springs, could not use lock washers had to use red Loctite.

Just mounted my 1.5 inch square axle today using this item. Worked great. I used a cradle to align my axle on the slipper springs (no holes needed i. axle) but the cradle added about 1/4 inch. This means there were no extra bolt threads extending beyond the nut. The lock washers were fully compressed, though. The red on the bolt threads in the pic is just grease.
The product seems fine. I haven't installed it yet. That said the packaging was absolutely horrible. The springs had come out of the box while enroute. The UPS driver was nice enough to keep it all together and stayed with me so I could verify that everything was there. I was almost thinking of sending you a picture of the box as the flaps were secured properly but there was obviously not enough packing to keep the springs from moving around inside the box and they blew out the side of the box.

everything went great
After a year the suspension is still as good as new.
My old u bolts and leaf springs were rusted through so bad I had to cut them off. I had such a hard time finding replacement parts for my little boat trailer with such a small 1 1/2 inch axel. This was exactly what I needed! Fit perfectly with my New 24 5/8 x 1 3/4 inch leaf springs.
Just ordered another set. Build my own axles with spindles and hubs from e trailer along with 1 1/2 " square tubing. This u bolt kit is complete and the best price I have found. Picture wont show the u bolts but it will show you what I do with them.
I often purchase from each trailer and have always been very satisfied
Ordered early Friday morning before business hours. Parts arrived the following Wensday afternoon via UPS.
The only concern I had with the two springs I ordered was the cheap nylon bushing they came with. I would have preferred neoprene but the springs were stamped made in China so......
Springs and hanger kit I ordered went together and look good.
They worked great. Replaced my old rusted axle brackets with ease. And for a lot less than what the local trailer shop wanted to charge.
Paul helped me a lot. The axel fit just right.
The u-bolts have stood up pretty well to the elements and strong enough to pull my full 2k pound trailer. So far so good with the zinc protection, hope it lasts as good as other finish options
They worked great. Moved the axle from above the springs to under.
Replaced rusty springs on a 14' skiff trailer. Fit perfect, DIY for cheap in the driveway, it would've been easier with an impact wrench. Take their advice, etrailer is the best for a reason, get ALL NEW HARDWARE TOO!! I broke several fasteners removing them, if the springs are bad, so is the hardware. I have done three hitches and a set of leaf springs now with these folks. Their install videos and expert advice made it a breeze to save probably a couple thousand in labor at a shop.
I did a complete overhaul and upgrade on my boat trailer. I put stiffer springs on and this bolt kit was a must have. e trailer was the only place that had enough inventory to get me the right size ubolt. Has been flawless in use.

Good quality Steel, towed well
Since I was replacing all 4 leaf springs on our trailer ,it made sense to replace ubolts and plates. Was easy to find what i needed on website. Price was great. Made project simple.

4 new leaf springs and new mounting hardware, puts your mind at ease traveling. Very easy to find correct replacement parts .
Needed to replace springs on a kayak trailer, this kit did the trick. The things we like best about etrailer are the specific descriptions and videos. All we needed were a few measurements and ordering the perfect parts was simple. Trailer is ready for another great paddling season!

Using this well described kit to rebuild my suspension was a great decision and it led to complete restoration of the whole kayak trailer. Better than new now!
This kit worked well for mounting 1 1/2" guide-ons on my trailer but they are not going to last long for my salt water application. Only the plate (which I didn't use) is zinc plated. The U-bolts, nuts and lock washers are plated with something but they are not zinc plated as indicated in the description.

I had the u bolts pulled from the warehouse so that I could take a look at them. The u bolts that I saw still had the zinc plated finish.
The product itself was good, however in my case the u-bolts ware to short to get full thread engagement or the lock washers. All I ended up using were the rectangle plates, nuts and washers. It would be nice If there was option to get longer u-bolts. The additional (longer bolts) and plates I had to fabricate, cost me more than your kit. I should have made all the parts myself. It still would would have cost me more, but the trouble I went thru would have been known up front. I will still use your company for other trailer parts, but I will now cautious.

The u-bolt kit is designed for use with 1/2 square axles only. If used with the axle its intended for, they will fit perfectly.
