When you’re towing long distances or carrying serious weight, this setup is built to handle it. The Kenda 5.30-12 bias tire is Load Range D with an 8-ply rating and a maximum load of 1,250 lbs at 105 psi. Paired with a 12" x 4" steel wheel rated for the same capacity, it meets Department of Transportation specs so you can tow with confidence at highway speeds up to 65 mph.
No extra steps before hitting the road—this combo comes mounted and properly inflated right out of the box. The 12" diameter wheel features a corrosion-resistant galvanized finish that stands up to water, road grime, and years of use. It’s cut with a common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, zero offset, 1/2"-20 wheel bolts, and a 3.19" pilot diameter for straightforward fitment on standard hubs.
The bias-ply construction uses thick nylon cords set at a 30–45° angle in alternating layers for extra toughness. That crisscross pattern stiffens the sidewalls so the whole tire flexes evenly across rough or uneven terrain. It’s a design that keeps your trailer stable and steady instead of bouncing or swaying when the surface gets rough.
This tire includes a 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee—if it’s damaged in any way within the first twelve months, it’ll be replaced at no charge. The tire itself carries a 5-year warranty and the galvanized wheel a limited 2-year warranty, giving you long-term reassurance every time you tow.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Just got these yesterday......dropped off at the gate as requested. Picked them up today. Will put them on my boat trailer in a bit. Might even send a picture as they look good. Price and promptness of delivery was excellent on both counts. Etrailer has yet to fail me and I'm not up to date with reviewing my purchases, but I find no fault with them. Good outfit!

5 lug on 4-1/2” bolt pattern worked w/ new 1” thick aluminum adaptor plates that converted obsolete 5 on 5-1/2 to modern 5 on 4-1/2. The new wheels and tires completed my restoration of a 1958 Tee Née boat trailer. Great service high quality product. My first impressions of the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D - AM30861 are good, everything delivered as expected. Removed old wheels and bolted these on, noticed there is a label recommending to check and re-tighten lug nuts at the first 10-25-50-100 miles. I chose this wheel/tire because it was the highest load rating for my 4'x10' Utility/ATV trailer. I hope the galvanized finish lasts better than paint and I personally think it looks better than painted wheels. I purchased 3 total to have a spare on the trailer and mounted it with a MaxxTow Spare Tire Carrier for 3" x 5" Trailer Frames - 4-Lug and 5-Lug Wheels - MT70214. I also purchased a Master Lock Spare Tire Carrier Lock - 262DAT, but unfortunately the bolts were too long on the spare tire carrier and the lock would not fit. Next time I am at the hardware store I will get a shorter bolt so it will fit.
I use my trailer for handyman work, So some days it carries a few sheets of plywood and others 600lbs of roofing. I needed a high load capacity tire package and they look better then my old boat trailer like wheels. I am going to rewire my trailer and guess were I'm shopping for lights you guessed right eetrailer.

A while back I purchased a used 5 x 8 trailer. The wheels were starting to rust and the tires were shot! The "tire store" down town wanted a little over $50. to mount a new tire on my rusty wheels....
I happened to find Etrailer on line. I got brand new tires mounted on galvanized wheels for about the same price! They are so easy to deal with! I ended up replacing everything on the trailer (bearings, lights, springs, tires, wheels etc.) from etrailer!
Better sit down for this one: They even called me at home to see how the project was going, and if there was anything else they could do to help....When was the last time someone did that! Certainly not in my lifetime (and I'm over 70!).
It doesn't get any better than this! Go on their website (or call them), get what you need, and be done with it......

I typically look around a bit but seem like I always end up with etrailer; in part because of price but most often because of the availability and knowledge of their customer or technical support. The rims look great too.
I like that the tire is Load Range D rated. Rim and tire will look awesome on my trailer.
Received tire(s) mounted on galvanized rim(s) as expected.
Checked / set pressure as needed and then installed on the utility trailer without any issues. Trailer lives outside in a marine environment.
Other reviews noted the dross in the galvanized layer. Dross is a well understood “galvanizing process defect” that eTrailer should address with their supplier.

One possible enhancement to the website is to have a link to a chart for torque setting for lug size and a typical procedure for checking / rechecking setting after initial and periodic use…
Rocket fast service! Great price and delivered right to my door. Ordered 2/13/2026 (Friday evening) and had them midday the following Wednesday. On sale when I purchased for $214.88 for the pair. Shipped in a box to keep them clean. I wanted higher load and speed rated tires for our home built camper. It came with the low end folding utility trailer tires rated for 45 mph. Photo shows our rig as it was. As soon as weather permits they will go on the trailer and the galvanized wheels will go better with the trucks chrome smoothies. Will be on at least one trip this summer of over 4k miles. This price was lower than I could get locally, and I didn't have to leave my recliner! Would buy again when needed. Am thinking on upgrading to larger wheel size and torsion axle if we plan to continue this hot rod camping thing. If so I will be going back to Etrailer.
