This 2-1/2" x 1-3/16" Thinline LED light puts out a clean, bright red glow while drawing only 0.051 amps at 12.8 volts. With three diodes working together, it’s easy to see even in dark or rainy conditions. The LEDs last about 50 times longer than traditional bulbs, so you won’t be swapping out filaments or worrying about uneven brightness. Visibility from multiple angles makes a big difference on the road. This PC-rated design produces light 90 degrees to either side of its centerline—covering a full 180 degrees total. When properly mounted, it functions as both a clearance and side marker light, giving clear visibility from the front or rear corners as well as from the sides. It’s DOT compliant too, so you stay visible and within lighting regulations.
This compact rectangular light is built to fit standard 2-prong plugs and mounts easily with the right bracket or grommet (each sold separately). Use a surface-mount bracket for an open-back setup or go with a flush grommet for a recessed look. It also works with self-grounding brackets that simplify wiring down to a single connection point. Either way, installation is quick and clean without custom drilling or rewiring.

I, like others, am amazed at the brightness of the lights. They are a huge upgrade over my existing incandescent lamps!
I really like the way them mate with the mounting brackets and wire connectors. They snap into the brackets securely and can be removed. I also like the matching connectors as they also snap into place securely.
I would buy again and I would recommend to others as well!

A year later and Ive had zero issues with the LED lights. All the individual LEDs continue to work and the brightness has not diminished over time! Im extremely happy with these!
Replaced the front and rear side running lights on my trailer. Purchased 2 amber and 2 red. These have the proper connection for my trailer and are very bright. Perfect replacement

Worked great on my Elite horse trailer
I'm very pleased with these LED replacement lights for the fenders on my cargo trailer.
Before these I had the regular light bulb which I had to replace from time to time. So the last time I needed to replace a bulb about a year ago I decided to go with these LEDs.
Wow what a difference in their brightness.
Before changing to LEDs my lights on the fenders were somewhat dim. Now with the LEDs these lights are bright enough for other divers to see them in the daylight giving me some peace of mind that they see me coming.
There is however one con to them being so bright.
When I have to back my trailer into the driveway at night their brightness blinds me from seeing my wife in back of the trailer guiding me in when using my review mirrors.
But it's OK because now I will just get some LED backup lights for the trailer.
I plan on changing the entire trailer over to LED lights, someday. lol

Exactly what I expected
Installed these lights on my extend a truck, they work perfect, small and bright and you can see them from the side as well.
Enjoyable buying experience and fast shipping. I will definitely use etrailer again.
The amber light is what I needed. The red light is useless to me no back, mounting stud, or wire connection. Discriptions of both are almost exactly the same. Very disappointed
Placed order 4:53p central on a Friday. The order was processed and shipped USPS by Saturday and arrived by Monday. Parts shipped appear to be better than the OEM trailer lights put on a Benchmark trailer. Communication was clear and accurate. Prices were fair and service prompt and accurate.
Fits perfectly. Just wired today but haven't finished so I can't say how they look when on.

These Thinline led lights replaced my incandescent ones perfectly as id lights for my boat trailerl. etrailer has great pricing and the item was in stock. These are brighter than oem and should outlive the original lights. This decision was made easily to upgrade to these. Friends of mine as well as myself have made purchases from etrailer before and have been very satisfied with our purchase. Customer service is good. No reason to look anywhere else.
