This rectangular LED trailer light delivers a bright red output from six diodes, improving visibility while keeping power draw low—just 0.040 amps at 12.8V. The LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs and don’t have fragile filaments to break. You’ll get consistent light every time you hook up without ever needing to swap out bulbs.
Installation is straightforward with its single-wire design that grounds through the mounting hardware—no extra ground wire needed. The light surface mounts using hardware (not included) and measures 4" long by 1-1/2" wide, with mounting holes spaced 3" apart center to center. It’s compact, clean, and easy to fit wherever you need it.
The integrated reflex reflector means you don’t have to install an additional piece for compliance or visibility. It reflects light back when hit by headlights, helping others see your trailer even when the LEDs are off. That’s one less part to install and one more layer of safety built right in.
The housing is made from tough ABS plastic and topped with a red acrylic lens that resists cracking and fading. It’s P2-rated and DOT compliant, producing a 90-degree beam spread that meets clearance or side marker requirements when properly mounted. It’s a durable, dependable setup ready for daily use.
When it’s time for maintenance, the replacement red lens is available as part #A44RB for the MC44 and BA44 series lights. That means if you ever need to refresh the lens, you can do it quickly without replacing the entire light. It’s a small touch that keeps your lighting setup looking sharp and working like new.

Quality plastics, snug seal, and I like that the red and amber versions of this light are wired EXACTLY like my trailer: Single-wire, and 2-wire, respectively. I only wish the wires exited through the (unused) recessed center hole like they're supposed to. Will require a little extra work to install, but otherwise good purchase.
I purchased trailer side marker LED lights. They all worked when installed and seem to be of good quality......time will tell. Stay tuned to find out.

This is an exact replacement for a light on my camper that I lost the lens to. Good quality and fast service.
These are a great little marker light. The reflective properties of them are bright. The leds inside are coloured red as well so the colour is very good.
Just remember if you buy both amber and red, not to put the wrong bases and lenses together.
These LED lights are easy to install and work well. Have had them on my trailer for a year

I purchased these LED marker lights for my cargo trailer to replace the original incandescent markers that were failing from corrosion after only a few years. Since these were the same manufacturer, the lenses are exactly the same - now I have a handful of spares! The marker lights were mounted with the same screws, but I did have to re-drill for the wiring as the LED wire exited the base at a different location. Installation was a breeze, and the LED is brighter, and will hopefully last much longer.
Working as intended after 1 year of use.

Very good LED trailer light. Extremely bright. Make sure you order the correct item. There are single wire or dual wire options.

These 1 wire self-grounding lights from Optronics are exactly what I was needed to match up with original lights on my enclosed car trailer. These lights were a breeze to install, the led's are bright and I am very happy with this product and Etrailer !!!!

These lights are still working perfectly !!
I have an enclosed motorcycle trailer that came with stock incandescent lighting. I like the LED lights because of the reduced power draw and that there virtually indestructable. These replaced the last of the stock lighting. They fit in exactly the same position as the stock ones. They are used as side marker lights towards the rear. So now my trailer is 100% LED lighting and the price was right!

Working fine! I check them out whenever I tow my trailer but theres really no need cause I know they work Every Time!
I bought both this and the amber colored lights.
Product is very easy to install. It serves its purpose by being bright enough as a marker/clearance light without being obnoxiously bright.
My only negative comment is the packaging. I bought 4 lights and it was packaged with a crumpled packaging paper on the bottom of the box and all 4 lights was just placed on top of it. I think the lights should have been individually wrapped as there were some light scratches on all the lights when I opened the box. Not really a concern of mine as nobody will ever see the scratch unless looked on very, very closely, but people with major OCD might not like it at all.

Still works.. Only thing I forgot to mention in my 1st review. The entire light assembly is not sealed. The led circuit board is sealed with some sort of hot glueclear silicone but not the whole assembly. I decided to seal the entire assembly with clear silicone can be bought at any hardware store to prevent the inside of the reflector housing from becoming discolored.
We replaced our old lights on our 1995 Silverado horse trailer with these new LED lights. Wow! what a nice upgrade. So much brighter. Thank you!

I bought this light to start replacing the incandescent lights on my trailer. This store makes it easy to find which light I needed to start this project. And they also carry a better selection, I will use them again.
This is a great, overall product. Lights are bright, and can be seen in the daylight. Installers should be careful when snapping lens covers on... They're very snug (they seem almost watertight!) and I cracked two of seven, and had to order replacements. (they do sell just the lenses... but I found out too late.
These items is just what I was needing. Now I don't have to worry about every year when I start checking my trailer to get it road ready, of having to tap the clearance lights and or replace bulbs just to get it road.
From the minute I made contact with one of the sales people in customer service of etrailer I immediately felt at ease and confident I was going to be satisfied and get the replacement parts I needed and that being, the LED replacement clearance lights for my trailer. I would surely recommend this company and the service they provide to anyone. I am truly grateful for their assistance and the products they sell.
Great looking lights, easy install, wiring for amber/red lights matches wiring style of trailer. Only downside, is that the lenses crack easily when prying them off, because the seal is so good. If doing a whole trailer, order some replacement lenses as a back-up. Also, make sure to pry the lenses from the middle of the long side of the lens, NOT the ends.
