Are Optronics LED Lights Quality Lights

Question:
Are there other brands of LED trailer lights that are more reliable that the Optronics? Three out of four of my MCL31AB and MCL31RB have gone bad and a third of the LEDs in one of my BUL52CBs are out. They are 10 yrs old, but the clearance lights probably have less than 100 hours and the backup less than an hour. I know they are cheap, but they are a pain in the ass to change and I would rather spend more and not have to deal with that. Quality LEDs should last forever.

Lights like the # MCL31AB and # MCL31RB are cheap but that is the nature of a small clearance light in this style. I wouldn't really expect better performance from any other brand. I know it happens, but we don't really see complaints about the lights burning out. Optronics lights are backed by a lifetime warranty on the LEDs so a light like your # BUL52CB is covered under and can be replaced.
For the clearance lights I would try switching to the Thinline LED Clearance and Side Marker Light # AL91AB and # AL91RB. These can be surface mounted or you can use a grommet # A91GB or bracket # A91BOB. The reason I recommend these over the other marker lights is because they are sonically sealed. Water intrusion seems to be the number one issue people run into across all brands. Even if you don't need submersible lights, this helps eliminate the risk of water or anything else getting inside of the light to damage it resulting in failure.
