This thinline light uses three white LEDs behind a red lens to deliver bright, clean visibility without the heat or fragility of old bulbs. At just 0.048 amps on a 12.8V system, it runs efficiently while lasting up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights. You get consistent brightness with no filaments to break and no bulbs to replace, so it’s ready to go whenever you are.
If your trailer ever sees rain or the boat ramp, this light is built for it. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into one waterproof unit, keeping out water that could corrode wires or damage diodes. Its sealed build makes it a dependable pick for wet environments where moisture usually shortens light life.
The Thinline Series lives up to its name with a low-profile 3-15/16" long by 1-1/4" wide design that fits tight spots along the trailer’s frame. It surface mounts using bracket A65B (sold separately) and connects easily with standard 1-prong or 2-prong plugs—no complicated wiring, no wasted time getting it in place.
This light’s P2 rating means it throws a 90-degree beam spread—45 degrees on either side of center—for proper coverage when used as a clearance or side marker light. It meets DOT requirements for that role, helping your trailer stay visible and compliant on the road.

The LEDs light up brightly. They're brighter than i expected! I bought enough to change out all my trailer lights, it worked out well. So far they've been through some extreme weather. I've used the trailer in heavy rain, high heat, through winter and freezing temps, and many washes. They haven't leaked and lenses still look great. It's only been a year and I'm hoping these will last many many more.

The MCL65RB lamp you purchased needs a mounting bracket like part A65PB in order to be installed. The bracket includes sockets that receive the pins on the back of the lamp. Because there are a number of mounting options and kinds of brackets available, the bracket isnt included with the lamp. If you take a look at the links below, you can see the available brackets that are compatible with this lamp.
