Water and electrical parts don’t mix—unless the light is built like this one. Its polycarbonate lens and housing are sonically sealed together to form a single waterproof unit that’s fully submersible. That means no water sneaking in to corrode the circuit board or kill your light. Whether it’s rain, road spray, or a dunk at the boat ramp, this light stays protected and working.
At just 2-1/2" long, 1-1/4" wide, and 1" thick, this mini thinline light fits easily wherever you need visibility. You can surface-mount it with an open-back or self-grounding bracket (sold separately), or flush-mount it with a grommet if you want a smooth finish. It accepts standard 1-prong or 2-prong plugs, making installation straightforward and compatible with existing setups.
This light’s P2 rating gives you a 90-degree total beam spread—45 degrees to each side of center—so it’s visible head-on and ideal for use as either a clearance or side marker light. That focused pattern helps define your trailer’s edges clearly without wasted light spill, keeping you visible and compliant out on the road.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Optronics mini thin line sealed LED marker and clearance light. This amber light provides a marker or clearance light for your trailer, it is sonically sealed so it's completely waterproof. The two prong connector on the back will accept a standard two prong plug, a two prong plug is sold separately and available at etrailer.com.This unit contains one LED or one diode. Now LEDs are great replacements for incandescent lights, they last longer, they burn brighter, and they're much more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs or worry about brittle filaments. The polycarbonate lens is very strong and durable, it's SAE and Department of Transportation compliant.This light is designed to be mounted using a mounting bracket or a mounting grommet, those items are sold separately and available at etrailer.com but I do have some examples to show you what it would look like.
This right here would be our mounting grommet, the light simply fits into the grommet and it gives it a really nice finished look so this is an option, it's available at etrailer.com. The other option would be a bracket like this where the light would actually snap into so it'd snap into place and the bracket would hold it and then here on the back instead of requiring a two prong connector it would only require a one prong plug because the other prong . actually it'll go this way. The other prong would engage this hole here which has a bridge that goes over to one of the mount holes so it would ground through mounting hardware.It's a really nice design. Taking a look at the measurements real quick, measures about two and a half inches long by an inch and a quarter wide by one inch deep.
We're gonna go and hook it up to our power source that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We can also turn off our overhead lights so you can see that it sends out a very bright, consistent signal. Again one LED or one diode design, the power draw at 12.8 volts is 0.023 amps and Optronics puts a lifetime warranty on the LED.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Optronics mini thin line sealed LED marker clearance light.
