Great product at a great price. My trailer looks amazing at night all lit up.

I reviewed this order earlier indicating that the light I received was not the same as the one I ordered from. However, after several emails back & forth with Mr. Breedlove at Etrailer, he was able to provide an explanation for the difference. The manufacturer upgraded the light to a LED which required a different lens than I had on the trailer. I have to admit the LED light is much brighter than the incandescent one on the trailer. I'm impressed with the dedication & perseverance demonstrated to me to help resolve the problem. For that they earned my trust and my business.

Excellent replacement for a Hallmark trailer, may need to get different bolts with a flat head on it. At least I did

Prefect replacement for my featherlite trailer running lights. Single lead grounded through frame.

I’ve chosen this product and it’s applicable snap in red or amber lamp ass’y to complete two enclosed trailer relampings . I through bolt my bases so a ground wire can be added to the circuit , rather than rely on mounting screw to frame or metal skin grounding . I’ll also be using this product to add more lighting to my F150

- A65PB
by:

Originally Ordered just the bulb. When I went to install the snap in bulb realized the bracket was bad. Etrailer looked up my order and gave me this correct bracket number. Ordered and it arrived quickly. Up and running again.

I’ve used this base for all the perimeter lighting of two cargo trailers belonging to friends of mine. This offers ease of maintenance in the future, if needed . I fasten them with two 8-32 x 1-1/2” stainless flat head screws . I run a separate ground wire daisy chained to each base so I don’t have to rely on a sheet metal to screw connection

- A65PB
by:

easy replacement of the lights. much br ighter.

- A65PB

Great price, quick shipment and I will purchase from Etrailer again and again !!!!

Works well, makes the lights easy to replace (if needed).

My new lights and harness were easy to attain understand and install. It came with everything I needed to rewire and install new lights in out and around my entire trailer.

This product is all that it says it is. I have been working on a 2002 Trails West, Sierra gooseneck trailer doing minor upkeep repairs since I purchased it last October. I thought I needed just the clearance lights when I ordered those first. Then I found out I needed new brackets, as a few still didn't work. I watched your install video a few times to do this job myself. It was not as easy for ME as he made it look, AND you have to make sure you have the right LENGTH rivet or it will not attach to the trailer wall! I found this out and destroyed one of the brackets, but I got by with some good glue on one bracket that was just cracked at the clip, but still worked. Also, it's tricky getting the butt connector pressed tight into the narrow slot. I also borrowed my neighbors rivet gun and watched how-to videos on this tool too, and one on how to remove a rivet stuck in the gun and how to put it all back together again, and after I had lost a very tiny part for a day. I was ready to say HELP to my neighbor yesterday. And, it was difficult finding the right size rivet, after going to 4 different stores. It's all been a new learning experience for me, and I just have to say, I GOT IT DONE!!!!!!

- A65PB
by:

These bases were a god-send as my wife had "removed" a few by driving a wee bit too close to some overhanging trees. They will be fairly easy to install and with the new lights we should be back in business. Thank you for the usual quick service.

Comments
These new lights [LED] continue to work flawlessly and the brighter light is quite noticeable. They were easy to install and have not been removed yet by my wifes driving.

Good product seem sturdy. Replaced all the marker lights on my 1998 Alaskan truck camper. They were a perfect fit however as I have wood core sides it was a bit tricky to get them sealed due to the open design on the back around the screw holes. I doubled up with using butyl tape and then silicone in the screw holes. Other than that they worked great!

by:

I ordered four A65PB black brackets with single wire plugs as spares for the running lights on my Cargo Mate trailer. They arrived packaged well and in perfect shape. I have already had to use one to replace a broken bracket. I am always leery of so called "suitable replacement" part numbers but these brackets are a perfect replacement for the brackets on my cargo trailer. They seem to made well and the one I installed operates the running light perfectly. I would recommend these brackets to anyone.

Is been a year already and the bracket I am using is still working flawlessly. Its always nice to experience a quality product.

I replaced all the marker lights on an older enclosed trailer. Easy and looks great. No more loose blown bulbs. Thankyou

Quality product! The LEDs light up brightly. They're brighter than i expected! I bought enough to change out all my trailer lights, it worked out well. So far they've been through some extreme weather. I've used the trailer in heavy rain, high heat, through winter and freezing temps, and many washes. They haven't leaked and lenses still look great. It's only been a year and I'm hoping these will last many many more.

I bought two of these to go along with the red/amber lenses that fit these. My snowmobile trailer fender lights (a different brand) have been a problem about every 3 years, so hopefully these stand up to New York winters. These are a more sturdy looking design than the last ones, and need to be screwed to the fender for ground. This is different than my old ones which used a ground wire running along with the positive, so hopefully that doesn't become an issue as the mounting screws get corroded due to salt spray. I considered this before purchasing, and only time will tell how well they hold up. As always, thanks for the great products, great prices and excellent customer service!

Still working great!

Marker light was exact replacement. Could not use the bracket as mine was two wire, not single wire. Otherwise a good product.

  • Protecting Trailer Electrical Connections from Salt Water on a Boat Trailer
What I recommend doing is wrapping electrical connections using heat shrink tubing # DW05452. This will keep on the water and preserve the metal connectors from the light. I also recommend using dielectric grease # LT37534 between electrical connections to repel moisture. I also recommend running a jumper ground from the light ground location somewhere further up on the trailer (at a spot that won't be under water) so that the ground is not affected. If at all possible, rinse the...

  • What Type of Connector Does Black Bracket and Single Wire Plug # A65PB Plug In To
The plug that is on the Black Bracket and Single Wire Plug # A65PB is designed for trailers that already have the type of plug-in wiring on the trailer (Plug-n-Go). The wiring that plugs into this end is not available but an auto parts store or store like Radioshack would probably have the matching connector that you could attach to the existing wiring on the trailer allowing you to plug in the lights.
