Shane: Hey. Hi, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at Optronics mounting bracket for Optronics A Series lights. This is what our bracket's going to look like when it's installed. It's going to be a very durable plastic construction. It's going to be a surface mount.
It's going to have a foam backing to help seal the backside of the light. It's going to have an open back. Allow you to run your lights or run your wires from your lights much easier. It's going to allow you to snap your light into place. These are also going to be available in chrome.
These are designed to work with A91, AL82, AL90, AL91 or AL191 Series lights. You can find each one of those lights here at etrailer.com. Keep in mind mounting hardware is not included with this light. Again, with this bracket, the light is just going to snap into place. Makes it very easy to attach and detach the light.That's going to do it for our look at Optronics mounting bracket for A Series lights..
Perfect fit, 2001 Shoreland'r boat trailer, absolutely no drilling, lined up with factory holes.
I consider this plastic base to be over priced.

You wouldn't think something like getting replacement running lights would be that complex but frankly it is. With the various options and manufacturers its a nightmare. After searching the desert of the internet for correct information I stumbled upon this oasis of information from etrailer to get the right lights and mounting brackets. I now understand what the "e" stands for in their name, they make trailer stuff "easy".
I've always had good luck when I buy from etrailer. I've been working on my boat trailer and small utility trailer and purchased items for both. I'm very happy with the products so far. I've installed everything that I bought, but it's impossible to send any pictures because both trailers are covered and put away for the winter. Keep up the great work.
seems like just last week I was saying how much i liked the led lights and where would they be without the mounting brackets? its all good and thats the truth!

I purchased these as more of an insurance policy when I changed out the lights on my Shoreland'r trailer. I wasn't sure if the new lights would fit into the existing housings. They fit perfectly!. These brackets have the same mounting hole pattern and dimensions as the stock trailer housings, so when I decide to change them out, it will be a breeze!!
Purchased fenders from etrailer. Selection was great, priced competitively and shipping quicker than expected. Also purchased marker lights, which were easily installed in fenders.
The mounting brackets are well made and very durable. I like the Open Back design as it allows clearance for the electrical connector. I also liked the foam backing as it made a good, clean seal/finish on the final project.
I mounted them on my boat trailer using #8 stainless hardware without issue. I have a black trailer and these matched nicely!

The light I ordered are excellent. I replaced all the lights on my boat trailer to LED. The first trip to lake with the boat, got many comments from other boat owners at the lake. I told them about etrailer. I know they will be as satisfied as I am. Thanks etrailer.

Disappointed that the mounting bracket and pigtail were sold separately. Also the pigtail protrudes beyond the surface of the mounting bracket,creating additional work in mounting.
I friend told me about etrailer.com a couple of years ago and for that I'm grateful. I can locate any obscure light for my trailer and have it shipped to my door! This saves a lot of time from shopping local stores when I'm trying to locate a part. The prices are less than my local stores too!

God I love these replacement lights ! they fit my Trailstar trailer perfect . Do you have the little ones for corner by the tires ? If so I will take them too.
This is so great and so logical to me to ask a question to a client a year later. Most of the enterprises would ask this question in the first week. If you buy something, most of the time you will be happy a week later.

Wish I had read more, it doesn’t come with any of the plastic thumb darts to mount it to the fender.
