Recommended Replacement Trailer Lights and Jack

Updated 07/10/2017 | Published 07/07/2017

Question:

Can you recommend for boat trailer submersible: #1-Red rear trailer lights, LED, to replace current ILC 285 #2-Amber side marker to replace Petersen PM147, #3 waterproof crimps, #4 - trailer jack to replace Bulldog TWS-151-DS frame welded. Can the snap ring be removed - to replace jack without having to weld a new jack base on trailer? Thanks.

You can remove the snap ring of our Bulldog jack and leave the welded mounting bracket on your trailer. You can replace the jack with # BD151460.

The closest LED tail lights we have to yours are # 271595 for the driver's side and # 271594 for the passenger's side. They measure 7-1/2 by 3-1/2 inches with 2 inches between the mounting holes. They're submersible.

We don't have the exact clearance light either but # AL91AB is very close and I think will work for you. It's also an LED light and is 2-1/2 by 1 inches. It's subermisble as well but needs a mounting bracket # A91BOB and wiring pigtail # A46PB.

The best way to make wire connections on a boat trailer is to use Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05744-10. They're the best for keeping moisture out of the wiring.
