Today we're gonna take a look at the mounting bracket for Peterson 150 and 152 series trailer lights. This is going to have a chrome finish and this is just going to be a plastic bracket for your clearance marker lights, but it's gonna be a surface mount design. It does come with the hardware to get that installed. So put this in place first and we'll have our little foam gasket to go over the back. Protects our trailer from any scuffs and things like that. Provides a little bit more of a seal to the back of our light. Then you would press your light into place.
Again, this is going to work for the 150 and 152 series lights. I've got one of those here.On those lights there will be two small tabs at either side there. That's going to fit into the little groove on end of our bracket. Might be kind of hard to see but there's just like a little groove in there that the light itself is gonna catch on. So slide one down and into place and ...
whoop, hardware fell out. Pop that down back in there. The hardware does have a Conical style so it's kind of a sunk or . it will lay flat inside that bracket there so we don't have to worry about it interfering with our light. Then once we have that little tab in place, press that down into our bracket and should snap down in there without any issue. Again, the light does not come with this.
I'm just using this for demonstration how it will look once it's in there. But if you need to pick up some lights we do have a lot of options here at etrailer.com for any of those Peterson lights that you might need and any of the plugs that you need to get the lights powered as well. Now to remove this it's gonna be a little bit tricky. You might actually need a screwdriver. So a flat blade screwdriver to pop that out of place. The tabs on the side they'll allow for that to sort of bow out.
You just put that in and then gently pry outward and it will release that light out. So if you have an incandescent style bulb or light and you need to replace the bulb, it shouldn't be too hard to pop that out of place or replace that light if it ever gets damaged, broken and you need to replace the light itself.Again, it does come with that hardware to get that installed and our grommet. As far as the dimensions of the bracket, it's going to be about two and seven-eighths inches long and about one and a half inches wide. It's going to be about a half inch deep. The distance between those mounting holes center to center is gonna be two inches. Does come in that chrome color and this product is made in the USA.That's gonna do it for a look at the mounting bracket for Peterson 150 and 152 series lights in chrome.
