Item Item # AL91CAB appears to be the replacement LED I need, but the description says it lights amber. What is the item number of the same size/shape bulb that lights red with clear cover?

We do carry a number of options for clearance lights that have a clear lens and red LEDs, but the red equivalent of the Thinline LED Mini Clearance and Side Marker Light - Clear Lens - Amber # AL91CAB has a red lens as opposed to a clear lens; it is the Thinline LED Clearance and Side Marker Light # AL91RB. If you want to go this route you can mount it with Grommet # A91GB (recessed mount) or Mounting Bracket # A91BOB (surface mount) with Right Angle 2-Wire Pigtail # A46PB.
For similar lights that are clear and have red LEDs, your options are the Optronics Mini Side Marker and Clearance Light - 3 Diodes # MCL14CRGB or Optronics Mini Red LED Clearance or Side Marker Light - 2 Diodes # MCL131RC210B. I have added links to video reviews for you to take a look at as well.
