Just remove your tail light, slip the license plate bracket on over the light's mounting studs, and reattach the light to your trailer's tail light bracket. Pre-drilled holes match most stud-mounted brake lights for a hassle-free fit. Use the slot between the mounting holes to feed the tail light's wiring harness through.

These bushings have entirely to much slop

If my original shackles weren’t busted I would have returned this rebuild kit
As for the curved equalizer 1 star as well
Much thinner castings that my “stock” original parts
And the bushing holes are machined crooked and off center
E-trailer doesn’t want comments on their shipping but my orders in the last couple years has been extremely unreliable
I will probably never use this company again
Much better than the plastic ones this one here won’t break off if he comes in contact with something and it looks good on the trailer I think I’m gonna get matching fenders

Good product a hold up very well to the different conditions of dumping the trailer loads of material material
Very pleased with the product. It was a lot heavier duty than I expected it to be. Was a quick install and I'm not worried about losing my tag at all now. Bought a brand new aluminum trailer and it came with a plastic tag bracket that I wasn't impressed with at all and was afraid it would break at any time.
I love this tag holder cause it's not plastic like the original one was ??
Plus you don't have to worry about losing tag cause aluminum won't break like plastic will.

Product is working out great. If bracket gets bent you just pull it back in place with hand : So I still love it.

This will look nice on my car hauler if I figure out a good place to mount it. Location of trailer's mount area, down low to ground, may preclude using it. I got this in case

I ultimately had to fasten plate to trailer fender. The trailer design had mount location did not leave sufficient ground clearance, especially when loading/unloading for plate. This resulted in deformation of plate, both from ground contact and flying road debris and rocks. This item is best used when there is sufficient clearance for plate. It would look great and dress up any trailer it was attached to.
Perfect replacement for the standard plastic one that came on my all aluminum trailer .

Glad I replaced it , it not only looks better on my all aluminum trailer , it keeps the tags from waving at traffic

Great bracket. An upgrade from the plastic one my dad had on the boat trailer he gave me.
I looked over quite a few license plate brackets. Too many reports of the plastic ones breaking. My left/rear tail light includes a white light to illuminate the license plate so all I needed was a simple bracket. Aluminum so it won't rust, perfect!
I bought this to replace the plastic bracket that came with my Ultra-Tow aluminum folding trailer. It fits perfectly and matches the light cover too, like it was designed for it.
I bought a used Featherlite trailer that had no provision for a proper lighted license plate. I'm using this and it looks like it belongs as standard equipment, aluminum trailer and aluminum license plate bracket. Very nice!
Product is just like pictured on website. I've not yet installed it on trailer due to repainting it. But this product will be a sharp accessory to mount my tag with. Thanks for offering neat products that make upgrades from the ordinary possible. Great website!! Thanks etrailer.com

Flawlessly
The plastic LP holder on my 2013 19RR, fell off; IN MY DRIVEWAY! What luck! Replaced with this fine, metal bracket. Worked well, near the original location.
This product is excellent for my needs. Fairly thin and light weight aluminum. It's not heavy duty diamond plate but who cares, my last one was plastic and broke off somewhere. At least this won't break and I can re bend it when I jack it up.
I received my license plate bracket timely and it is great quality. I will order again from etrailer.
Durable, corrosion-resistant mount - perfect for trailers subject to physical impact and aggressive off-road and marine environments.

Perfect!
Perfect fit for bolt pattern on tail li ght
Exactly as advertised, good price and worked perfectly for what I was doing.
I used this plate to mount the license plate ABOVE the trailer lights. I used a stick-on LED for the plate and connected it to the tail wire. I would've rated it higher if it came with stainless screws to mount the plate.
Very solid and worth the price. I would purchase again if necessary.
