After a long drive, the last thing you want is to crank your trailer jack by hand. This electric jack does the heavy lifting with a push of the switch, and the foot plate helps keep you steady on soft soil or gravel so you can settle in and relax.
You remember all those mornings spent fighting with a manual jack, hands sore and energy running low before the day even started? With this electric jack, you just push the rocker switch and watch your trailer lift. And if you lose power, you can still count on the backup crank to finish the job and get you back on the road.
Rain, muddy campgrounds, and rough weather don't have to slow you down. The jack's double-coated steel stands up to rain, road salt, and sun, so rust isn't a worry, and the waterproof cover protects your motor trip after trip. Rubber guards keep moisture out of the switch housing and crank opening, helping everything work smoothly.
This jack bolts on with the included hardware and hooks straight to your 12-volt power. No need for complicated wiring or special tools.
Built for unpredictable moments, the wide, solid foot plate keeps things steady, even on rough or uneven ground, so setup is simple. Pull into a gravel lot after a long drive or set up on grass at your favorite state park and trust your jack to handle it. It's also removable and can be replaced by a caster (sold separately) to make it easier to move your trailer into tight spots.
Your jack just needs to lift the tongue weight - usually 10 - 15% of your trailers total weight. For example, if your trailer (plus gear) weighs 20,000 lbs, your tongue weight will be 2,000 - 2,500 lbs. Just make sure your jack's rated for at least that much. It's fine to go bigger as a higher-capacity jack often makes lifting easier.
Note: Operate only within the marked travel range. Do not continue running the jack once it reaches the red mark when lowering or when it reaches full extension.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at etrailer's very own electric trailer jack for A-frame trailers rated at 2.000 pounds. Now, folks, this is gonna give you a quick, effortless operation. It's electric, it's gonna make lifting and lowering your A-frame trailers that much easier, and it's pretty dang quiet to boot. So let's go ahead and raise this up (motor whirring) and let you hear it.
So as you can hear, it's not too loud, honestly, compared to all the other brands that I've seen out there and heard. And it's simple controls. It's a front on/off switch. As you can see right here, it has a rubber boot kind of protective over it. (motor whirring) And up top, you have a rubber plug that will simply pull up and out.
In the event that your battery's dead for whatever reason, you have this included tool that you can then put inside of here and then you could manually crank this up or down as needed in an emergency situation as far as losing power. So, very nice. (motor whirring) I'm gonna go ahead and lower it. It does use an automatic shutoff. It's gonna automatically shut itself off when it reaches that minimum height, just like that.
So you do have a nice foot plate here that's gonna give you a little bit of extension. So you can also pull the pin here, take that out if you need to. And I'm sorry, I said an extension, not an extension. You can take that off and perhaps put a wheel base on there if you want, sold separately. You do get the included three bolts, nuts and washers.
That's for installing this. And these grooves here are oblong. That way, you have a little bit of space depending on your trailer. Some of 'em are just a little bit off on their dimension. So that helps account for that. A nice hard plastic cover (fist thudding) so you don't have to worry about rain, corrosion, those kind of things. It is a two-wire system, so like I said, you will have to wire this up to a 12-volt system, a battery of some sorts to get that to operate and work correctly. Now I recommend with this particular jack, doing like an inline fuse or something just to have a little backup there to protect it and everything. So as I said, protective cover, moisture boot on top of here so you don't worry about moisture or nothing getting it in there. As far as some dimensions, when it's the mounting plate here to the ground, fully retracted is about nine inches and fully extended, this mounting plate will be up here at about 23 inches from there to the ground. Overall height for the jack is 29 1/2 inches tall and it has a lift capacity of 14 inches total. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven. Please, we'd love to see some photos, maybe even a video or two if you make a short one of this in action on your trailer, and tell us what you like about it. Have a good one.
