Question:

I have a cattle trailer and I have to hand turn a jack in the center front of trailer. Do you have one that is electric and heavy duty to where I don’t have to hand krank?

Hi Wade,

Yes, you’ve definitely got some good options to get away from hand cranking, and I totally get wanting something easier, especially with a cattle trailer. A lot of cattle trailers are gooseneck style and use a square center-mounted jack like part # TJD-15000SP-F, and in that case the typical bolt-on electric jacks won’t fit directly. One option there is upgrading to a hydraulic jack like part # BF47FR. If your trailer happens to be an A-frame style instead, then we do have standard electric jacks that can bolt right on and give you push-button operation.

The main things we’ll want to confirm are how your current jack is mounted and how heavy your trailer is so we can make sure you get something rated correctly and that fits without a bunch of modification. If you can, let me know roughly how heavy the trailer is and whether that jack is welded on or bolted and if your trailer is gooseneck or a-frame and I’ll help you pick the right setup so you don’t have to fight that crank anymore.
