  • Spring Loaded Pull Pin for Landing Gear With 2-14" Square Legs
I believe we may have what you are looking for, but to answer your question the Spring-Loaded Pull Pin for etrailer and Ram 5th Wheel Landing Gear # RVLG-SPP is designed for Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 which has a 2-1/2" square leg and a 5/8" pin diameter. What I recommend checking out is the Spring-Loaded Pull Pins for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear # LG-119113. This is designed as a more universal fit and will work with landing gear that have a 2-1/4" square leg and a 7/16" diameter...

  • Picking Out Replacement Landing Gear for 2010 Sandstorm Fifth Wheel
I'd have to know what landing gear you have now so that I can get you basically everything but the motor. Can you see any brand or part numbers listed? If you have pictures that might help too.

  • Best Landing Gear Upgrade Options for 5th Wheel Trailer
We do have motors that you can add to your landing gear. For example, the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 can be operated with the manual crank # RVLG-HDL but you can also add the motor # LC142178 and switch # LG-145236 for effortless operation on your end. The next upgrade for landing gear is the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010. This is rated for up to 12,000 lbs and operates via separate motors so you can easily level your 5th wheel trailer without using blocks...

  • Comparing the Stromberg Carlson Replacement Motors LG-196308 and LG-142178
Both the Replacement Motor # LG-196308 and # LG-142178 have the same mounting dimensions but, like you said the 196308 has a higher weight capacity at 6,500 lbs. The only other notable difference is that the 142178 has a motor speed of 5,500 rpm while the 196308 has a motor speed of 5,430 rpm. I would go with the higher rated motor as it will last longer because it won't be working as hard. Just be mindful thought that if your landing gear is only rated for 5,500 lbs it will be your limiting...

  • What is the Difference Between the Landing Gear Set RVLG-8HDL and RVLG-8000?
Hey Bobby! As far as the jacks go for item # RVLG-8000 and item # RVLG-8HDL there is absolutely nothing different. The item # RVLG-8HDL comes with the manual handle that I have attached a picture of below. That is the only difference. If your 2019 Cherokee Wolf Pack toy hauler has brackets that are 2" tall then you most likely have the standard weld stop measurements of 15-1/2" inside to inside. I have attached a photo so you can compare these dimensions to your current set up. If these...

  • How To Install the Landing Gear Set Part # RVLG-8000
The installation of the Landing Gear Set part # RVLG-8000 will be fairly straight forward. Basically, you will need to have a metal support structure so you can attach welded tabs part # LC113511 to it, 15-1/2" apart. Once these are installed you can then mount the jack tube and modify a cross-shaft that connects the two together which is included. Then, you will need to obtain a handle, the Crank Handle part # RVLG-HDL to raise and lower the legs. Unfortunately, we do not have a video...

  • Replacement Gears for Follow Leg on 2008 Crossroads Cruiser 5th Wheel Landing Gear
Landing gear is fairly universal in regards to the components like gears. I recommend the Follow Jack Repair Kit for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear # LG-146060. This will work on many brands of landing gear. If you need to get specific, you can find out what brand of landing gear you have by contacting the manufacturer of your trailer with your VIN number and Serial number.

  • Landing Gear Legs Do Not Travel Far Enough to Level Weekend Warrior 5th Wheel Trailer
One possible cause of the landing gear not working properly is electrical especially considering you have already replaced mechanical parts. If the battery does not have enough charge it can cause the landing gear to not operate properly. But if you need longer legs or a system with more travel then we can look at alternate systems. A system such as # RVLG-8000 has 20-1/2 inches of travel in the legs but also has drop legs for more adjustability making this a great system for your needs....

  • Replacement Landing Gear for a 1996 Sea Breeze 5th Wheel Trailer
If you take a look at the picture I have included you will see several measurements on a landing gear leg. If your existing landing gear jack legs match then it has the standard spacing so # RVLG-8000 with motor # LC142178 is a great option that won't break the bank. If you also need to replace the switch use # LG-145236. If your legs have different measurements let me know what they are and I can determine if there is a better option.

  • Is there a Way to Identify 5th Wheel Trailer Landing Gear with No Markings
It is possible that there is a part number somewhere that would help identify the landing gear on your trailer. Sometimes there is information on the underside of the caps on the tops of the jacks so that is another place you can check if you haven't already. Many landing gear parts are interchangeable among the different manufacturers but this is not always the case so identifying the manufacture and/or model number is important. Another option is to replace the landing gear with an...

  • How to Choose the Correct Replacement Landing Gear for 5th Wheel Trailer
There are a few things that go into making sure you choose the correct replacement landing gear. First you need to be sure that the landing gear is rated properly. If you check out the weight rating on your current landing gear just make sure the replacement is rated for at least the same amount. The next step is making sure that the replacement landing gear has weld stops in the same locations as your current landing gear. This lets you replace the landing gear without having to do any...

For starters, the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit part # BD1824200100 for single speed or part # BD1824180100 for two speed is only designed to work with Bulldog landing gear legs that have a 12,000 lb support capacity. If you do not have these legs than I cannot confirm the conversion kit will work for you. If you do have the above legs then there would be no reason to purchase a new system assuming the old one is in working order. You will have a fresh set of gears and wired remote if you...

  • Troubleshooting Atwood Landing Gear Leg That Doesnt Move
It sounds like the screw itself is damaged if the motor and gears are turning but the leg isn't moving. Atwood no longer is in the 5th wheel landing gear business so I recommend replacing your landing gear completely. The reason you would need to change out your whole set is because both legs need to move at the same ratio so that your trailer raises and lowers evenly on both sides. Since replacement parts are already becoming scarce for Atwood landing gear it would be better in the long...

If your brackets are 2" tall then you most likely have the standard weld stop measurements of 15-1/2" inside to inside (see attached photo). With this being the case I recommend going with the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 which has a weight rating of 8,000 lbs and offers 20-1/2" of travel. I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement landing gear for your 2007 Everest 5th Wheel trailer, but the only way to confirm this will be to measure the weld stops of your current landing gear setup. For example the Landing Gear Set - 36-1/2" Lift - 8,000 lbs # RVLG-8000 you were looking at has weld stops that measure 15-1/2" inside to inside and 17-1/2" outside to outside as shown in the included diagram. • How to Determine the Correct Replacement Landing Gear For a 2007 Artic Fox 5th Wheel Trailer
Unfortunately, we do not know what size landing gear you need from your RV information. The RV industry is too inconsistent. This means that you will need to take some measurements and get some information from your current landing gear. • Atwood Gear Repair Kits for 5th Wheel Landing Gear
When it comes to 5th wheel landing gear like # RVLG-8000, tongue jacks or winches, it is usually best in the long run to use an over-spec product that can handle more weight than you're going to ask it to. This tends to increase the working lifespan of such items since they will then be operated conservatively, well below their limits. Landing gear rated for 1000-lbs on a 14k+ trailer is surely a bit on the light side. Atwood landing gear repair kits are shown on the linked page. These...
