Looking For Electric Jack That Can Be Rotated 90 Degrees

Question:

Hi - Im looking for a replacement electric jack that the head can be rotated 90 degrees. Hitch weight 600 lbs. I need the rotation to clear my tailgate, Thanks

Hello Ralph, thanks for reaching out. The etrailer Electric Trailer Jack # e23ZV will be a great option for you. The jack can be rotated to the side if needed. We have one of these jacks on our trailer here at the shop and I have seen it rotated and bolt up fine. The 3,500 lb capacity will be more than enough for 600 lbs of hitch weight.

Hi Jesse. You stated the e23zv jack can be rotated 90 degrees. How does this work? do I need to drill new holes on my a frame? This is for a Lance trailer and I am concerned about tow vehicle tailgate clearance. Thanks Bill

@WilliamW Hello Bill. The mounting plate is a triangle so the jack can be turned to the side and the bolts and holes will still line up. So you can position the triangle with any of the 3 points facing forward.

@JesseM This answer is wrong. If you rotate the unit the holes will absolutely NOT line up. You CAN rotate the power head if you are mechanically inclined - which will buy you some space for your tailgate.
