Hey Chris, the Bulldog jack part # BD190758 would do decently in a saltwater environment but honestly it's not going to last forever. The zinc coating and the powdercoat will eventually allow the steel underneath to corrode. Now if you were to be super diligent and rinse it off every time it goes underwater it would last you a long time but if you wanted something that really ideal for saltwater an all aluminum jack like the Fulton F2 part # F1413040134 would be for sure your best option. How often would the trailer be in saltwater?

Sorry about that, my previous question may have been misleading. It shouldn't be going underwater at all. When I said saltwater environment, I was meaning a saltwater coastal environment fully on land, not underwater at all. Will the original jack #TJDP-7000S-B or this Bulldog # BD190758 jack you have suggested's coating/finish be fine for in this environment?
