Recommended Replacement Weld on Trailer Jack for a Phoenix Boat

Updated 06/25/2026 | Published 06/22/2026

Question:

Have a phoenix boat with a weld on trailer jack. Current one is a lower end fulton I believe, which I hate. Know the fulton f2 is hard to find in a single wheel, but has a adapter plate for weld on brackets. What would be a good big single wheel jack that can be mounted on the weld on bracket?

Happy to help Joe, thanks for reaching out!

From what you're looking to get out of a trailer jack, I'd suggest the Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # D22335. It has a large 8" x 3-5/16" single wheel, 1,500-lb capacity, their signature TUFFPLATE ZINC based corrosion protection and is one of the smoothest manual jacks for boat trailers. And yes, the DLxP supports both bolt-on and weld-on installation methods

What style of boats do you carry on the Phoenix?
