If your trailer brakes are worn or corroded, these 10" x 2-1/4" hydraulic drum brake assemblies are a direct, heavy-duty replacement. The Dacromet-coated backing plates stand up to saltwater and harsh weather, while stainless steel springs and aluminum cylinders resist rust. Boat and snowmobile trailers need brakes that won’t crumble after a few launches. The Dacromet finish on these assemblies offers superior corrosion resistance, and the stainless hardware keeps everything moving freely even after repeated water exposure. This setup is durable enough for long-term use in saltwater and other tough environments.
Each shoe uses automotive-grade friction material that’s fully bonded—not riveted—to the brake shoe surface. The taper and circular grinding of the lining help prevent cracking or crumbling that can cause lockup. SAE-N certification ensures the material meets environmental standards while providing strong braking torque and long wear life.
These single-servo brakes use fine-tooth gears so you can dial in exact shoe contact for consistent performance. Adjuster plugs cover the access holes to keep dirt out, ensuring smooth operation over time. Once set, they deliver dependable braking with minimal maintenance.
Each package includes ten left-hand (driver’s-side) and ten right-hand (passenger’s-side) assemblies—ideal for building or outfitting multiple trailers. They fit most standard hub-and-drum setups, including Dexter, Lippert (LCI), and AL-KO designs with a 4-bolt mounting flange pattern for 13", 14", or 15" wheels on 3,500-lb axles.
