A wandering trailer is no fun to tow. This 72" long round axle is built with a slight center bend that gives you a zero camber angle, keeping tire tread flat against the road for steady, controlled tracking. It’s rated for a 2,000 lb capacity and measures 58" from spring-center to spring-center, giving your trailer a balanced, straight-line feel every time you hook up.
Packing bearings can be messy and time-consuming. This axle comes with cast iron, pre-greased idler hubs already assembled with L44649 bearings, L44610 races, and 10-9 seals—plus 1/2" x 1-5/16" wheel studs and lug nuts. The built-in grease zerk on the Easy Grease spindles makes future maintenance simple, so you can spend less time wrenching and more time towing.
Durability matters when your trailer sees bumps, curves, and miles of pavement. This axle beam is made from high-strength steel and uses a patented welding process that makes the spindle welds 40% stronger than standard. Each spring seat and spindle is welded on and aligned for leaf springs (sold separately), giving you a solid underslung mount that rides low for easy loading and unloading.
This axle and hub assembly is CSA, QAI, and SAE-N certified for performance and safety, so you can trust it’s been tested under real-world conditions. It’s designed for 8" to 12" wheels and weighs 36 lbs overall. With a 1-3/4" axle diameter, 1.988" grease cap flange, and 5-9/16" hub diameter, everything fits together cleanly for a reliable setup that’s ready to roll.

I just got it today have not had a chance to install it yet would like to know if the hubs come with it it shows with hubs was just wondering if they coming separately

The axle worked great after I returned the one that didn't fit. The mechanic had it fixed in 30 minutes.

Great service. I live in Hawaii, so it took a little longer to get my order, but etrailer kept me updated and were super helpful
5 stars for looks, apparent quality, and ease of assembly. My only complaint is the axle came with the zert fittings installed on the ends of the axles. This is convenient, but both were non functional upon arrival. One was slightly damaged, and both had the rubber protective material jammed in the grease fitting that I couldn’t remove. I had 2 extra zert fittings in the shop, so quick change and no problem. Maybe these could be shipped uninstalled?
Other than the small, minor complaint, the axle and hubs look great.
