The product arrived as scheduled. The zerk fittings on the ends were damaged/dented from transport but those were easy to replace. Other than that, we installed the new axle and our trailer is already back on the road. Thank you!

Fit with little modification. My trailer is from 1985/1986 and has been in the family since new. After all of the years of use and abuse, the original axle finally had enough as it was bent from being overloaded a few too many times. Very happy with this kit as it came with everything needed and has handled everything I threw at it this past year.

@KateF Kate, we do an annual kayaking/ canoe trip to a small lake just Northeast of Yosemite national Park. We paddle in about 3 mi and then primitive camp for a week! Several years ago we converted an old Hobie Cat trailer into our 10 place kayak trailer. On a trip to Deadwood reservoir in Idaho, the trailer undercarriage failed when both leaf springs broke in half. We had the redneck engineer the heck out of the trailer to get it all the way back to California. That's when we decided to rebuild the undercarriage and use all the components that we got from e-trailer. Great prices, Great quality and that made the project really easy.

Looks to be a well made product but I was disappointed to see it was not US made.. I went with this axel because it is far superior to any I could find for small farm trailer use.. The hubs I got and measured are roughly 2-1/2 inches or 63mm and I could not find this in the specs.. My rims will fit but won't be hub-centric so they will be centered and ride on the lug nuts alone.. I am cutting a foot out of the center of the axle then splicing it together to narrow it for my application so no warranty for me.. This axle and pair of hubs with real bearing should last a very long time on the farm hauling dirt, mulch, stones, firewood..

My son converted the small trailer that this axle was used on from carrying a small quad to an overland camping trailer. Its been all over Texas and all the way up to Montana and back. No issues. Still highly recommended.

I bought this axle and hubs to replace my broken and worn axle that was left on the side of the road. I had tried a quick fix, but the axle from a local store was too narrow. I found this trailer axle and hub kit and it was the correct assembly to fit my trailer. I was able to replace the worn-out axle and hubs. The new trailer axle and hubs handle my load of the trailer with two Jet Skis, along with a toolbox and extra gas cans. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. A year later I just came home from another trip with the trailer and everything is working great. I had a fabrication shop weld the spring mounts on the trailer axle when I replaced it and it tracks straight down the road. Not bad from a 75-year-old retired guy.

Just what I ordered, had to modify to fit my 1720lb Harbor Freight trailer as far as the spring seats. I knew that going in so no big deal. Great help and info from the order person.

Hey Mario! The # e22GR might fit but I don't have the axle information for that trailer. I recommend getting your hub face measurement along with the spring center measurement to see if it matches. I can try to reach out to DK2 but they haven't responded to myself or others on my team for quite a while now so measuring is the best solution. If the 60" length matches but you have a different spring center measurement you will need to cut off the spring seats and weld on # TRSS175 to match...

Replacement Axle Needed For Motorcycle Trailer
Yes we have a number of axel options available, if you can identify what the current axle is that will be best for suggesting a replacement. I think it will be something similar to the Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs, # e22GR which is a very cost effective option. My guess is that you most likely have a bent/damaged spindle instead of a bent axle. However, frequently a better cost effective fix is to simply replace the axle with a new one that already has hubs. You get new axle, greased...

We have an option for an axle that measures 60 inches from hub face to hub face and comes with hubs that have a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern (5 lugs), though it is a round axle as opposed to a 2" x 2" tube. Does The Trailer Axle With Idler Hubs # e22GR Have a Front and Rear Side?
The tag on the Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs # e22GR should face the rear of your trailer. This has an underslung design so the arch will face up with the spring pads on the bottom of the axle. This ensures you have the left and right sides of the axle on the right side. While not as important for left and right on a idler axle it can cause issues on other axles with brakes. We do have a 2,200 lbs axle with the requested dimensions. It is the eTrailer Axle with Idler Hubs - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 60" Long item # e22GR. However, all of our axles are round they have a slight bend in the center to help the suspension. When loaded down the axles do straighten out.

Do Axles Have Speed Ratings?
Axle's like the etrailer Trailer Axle with Idler Hubs - 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 60" Long - 2,200 lbs item # e22GR do not have speed ratings. The speed rating comes from other components like the wheels and tires. A great wheel and tire set for the etrailer axle you were looking at is the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" Black Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR C item # AM32131. This combo has a speed rating of M which means it can go up to 81 mph.
