Towing or hauling a heavy load can make the rear sag and throw off how your vehicle feels on the road. These SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs add up to 1,500 lbs of rear support at 50-percent compression. They level out the rear so the front tires keep solid contact for better traction, steering, and braking. That means a more stable, predictable ride whether you’re pulling a trailer or carrying gear in the bed.
Factory suspension can bottom out or feel harsh with added weight. The microcellular urethane in these springs progressively compresses—soft at first for light loads, then firmer as weight increases. They cushion bumps and shocks while minimizing sway and bounce, giving you a smoother ride when loaded and a comfortable feel when empty.
When uneven loads or tight corners push your vehicle off balance, each SumoSpring works on its own to counteract it. The independent action reduces body roll and compensates for off-center cargo so your ride stays planted through turns, curves, or uneven ground.
These helper springs install easily without drilling or running air lines. Once they’re in place, there’s nothing to adjust or maintain—no air pressure to monitor and no compressor to fuss with. The closed-cell material resists oil, salt, and UV damage and performs from -25°F to 200°F, so you can count on consistent support through all seasons and road conditions.
