Question:
Hi - I have a 2024 f-250 FX4. I tow a ~10k boat trailer a couple times a month. What are the best sumo springs to help with rear squat yellow or black? Also what are the benefits of the rebel version? Thanks.

Hey Derek, great question and thanks for stopping by! So mainly between the yellow # SSR-127-54 and the black # SSR-127-47 SumoSpring Solo's is the capacity.
The yellow's are going to be for a heavier load application with a 2,800 lb capacity, while the black's have a 1,500 lb capacity.
The Rebel's # SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-128-47-2 do differ in a few ways. These have a two piece design which gives better compression and more movement with the axle, which can lead to a better ride. These are mainly for heavy duty trucks though, with their hefty 5,000 lb capacity.
For you, I'd stick with the yellow Solo's # SSR-127-54 because I believe those will benefit you the most in your situation.
What kind of boat do you haul with your trailer? If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to let me know!
