Hoses are exactly what I needed for transmission fluid. Note that the rolls aren't exactly 25' but vary by a few inches. Quality is consistent as I have purchased many rolls.

  • Small Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2013 Ford Explorer
The cooler that comes with the part # D15602 can be used as a transmission cooler for your 2013 Ford Explorer. Since you do not need the oil cooler parts that come with it you would be better off ordering the part # D51008, two of the part # D98202, rubber hose # D15799, and hose clamps # D13008.

  • Can I Mount Derale 10-Row Stacked-Plate Cooler to Bumper of 2002 Jeep Liberty
I spoke with my contact at Derale and he confirmed that the Derale 10-Row, High-Performance, Stacked-Plate Cooler # D51008, which you referenced, is a fit for your 2002 Jeep Liberty and can be mounted to your front bumper. To complete the installation you will want two of the barb hose fittings, part # D98202, replacement rubber hose # D15799, hose clamps # D13008 and insta-dapt radiator adapter # D13004. The mounting kit is # D50020.

  • Oil & Transmission Coolers for Ford F-53-Based Class A RV
Based on my research the 1998 Fleetwood Bounder M-36S Class A RV with the Ford 460 engine is based on the Ford F-53 chassis. Coolers are not vehicle-speciofic; you can install as large a cooler as you have space to mount one. Coolers are also not fluid specific; the same cooler model can be used for engine oil and for transmission fluid or even power steering fluid. Derale Class III cooler # D15551 includes a spin-on adapter in the required 3/4-16 thread. This will be a good choice for...

  • Transmission and Engine Oil Thermostats for a 2013 Ford Explorer XLT Adding Tow Package
I can help you protect your Explorer XLT, even in the cold climates of Wisconsin. The Derale # D15902 you were looking at is a great choice for your 2013 Ford Explorer XLT. This kit already includes an engine thermostat adapter, so all you will need is the transmission thermostat to complete your setup. The Derale # D15719 is the transmission thermostat kit with fluid control you are looking for. Since you will have to cut the return line as well as the input line, you will need the...

  • Thermostat Bypass for Use with a Derale Transmission Cooler
I recommend Derale thermostat # D13011 with mounting bracket # D25793, and extra hose # D15799 when installing the Derale transmission cooler # D13503. The thermostat comes with the threaded ports and hose clamps so you will not need those separately. The thermostat will allow 90 percent of the fluid to bypass the supplemental cooler until the fluid temperature reaches 180 degrees. So if you live in a cold climate and don't want to wait as long for the vehicle to warm up this thermostat...

  • Fittings and Other Parts Needed to Install Transmission Cooler D52508 in a 2010 Chevy Tahoe
Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting # D13035 is recommended when installing a transmission cooler on the 2010 Chevy Tahoe. I have linked a video featuring this fitting for you. In addition to the fitting and the core, # D52508, you will also need a bracket kit # D50020 to mount the cooler, hose clamps, # D13008, and about 10 feet of hose, # D15700. We also have a 25 foot length of hose, # D15799, if you want to err on the side of caution; especially if you are also installing a bypass...

  • How to Determine if Transmission Cooler Will Fit In Front of the Radiator on a 1999 Chevy Silverado
For transmission coolers you have to go by their dimensions compared to the available space where you want to install it. Stacked plate cooler # D51908 is 13 inches across, 7-7/16 inches tall, and 2 inches deep. If you have more than this much space in front of the radiator then it will fit your 1999 Chevy Silverado. This particular cooler is not a kit so it doesn't come with any hose or mounting components. To mount it you can use # D50020. For hose you can use # D15799 and clamps #...

  • Can Derale Remote Dual Oil Filter Mount Kit be Mounted on Vehicle Frame Under Passenger Door
With enough hose you could mount the remote dual filter kit # D15707 anywhere. You will want to make sure that the filters and hoses so not drop below the frame. Basically anything hanging too low is susceptible to road debris. The safest location would be up under the hood somewhere. Near to the top of the engine compartment would provide ample protection and accessibility. For hose you can use # D15799 which is a 25 foot long piece. We also have hose clamps # D13008 you can use if you...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2007 Dodge Ram with Cummins Diesel
For a full size diesel truck you'd need all the cooling power you can get if you plan to bypass your factory cooler. Stacked plate coolers are the most efficient styles of coolers around so the part # D54010 would be your best option. To complete the installation you will want two of the barb hose fittings, part # D98202, replacement rubber hose # D15799, hose clamps # D13008 and insta-dapt radiator adapter # D13004. • Recommended Fan-Powered Transmission Cooler For 2003 Toyota Sequoia
The transmission cooler kit I recommend for your 2003 Sequoia is the Derale Hyper-Cool Remote Cooler kit, part # D15960. This kit includes the hardware to connect the cooler and the mounting hardware. This cooler is a stacked-plate cooler with a 500-CFM fan to make sure your transmission fluid stays as cool as possible. • Best Remote Mount Transmission Cooler with Fan for a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax/Allison
For your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with Duramax engine and Allison transmission, I highly recommend the Derale Hyper-Cool Extreme Remote Cooler Assembly part # D15870 as it consists of a stacked plate-fin cooler which is the best design on the market as it is most effective and it comes with an 800 CFM fan that will provide more air to the cooler than will ever be required for your setup. • Recommended Transmission Cooler for a 2013 Chevy Tahoe
I have the perfect transmission cooler option for you. Generally speaking, the best transmission cooler to use would be the largest one you have available space for. The best place to install a transmission cooler is in front of the radiator/condenser behind the grill on your 2013 Chevy Tahoe. I recommend using the Derale 25-Row, High-Performance, Stacked-Plate Cooler part # D52508 because the plate and fin technology incorporated into this transmission cooler is far more efficient than...

  • Hose that is Compatible with Engine Oil for Air Conditioning System on a 1958 Plymouth Savoy
It depends on the hose. The part that you came from, # T0778500, is a fitting. Hose for high temperature engine applications such as # D15799 would work with engine oil just fine. This is 25 feet worth of hose. It is available in different lengths: 8 feet # D15740 5 feet # D15701 All of these lengths have a 1/2 inch inner diameter.

  • Power Steering Cooler Recommendation for an Off-road Rock Crawler
Typically, in automotive applications, the addition of a supplemental cooler will drop the fluid temperature around 10 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind, this is with the cooler mounted directly behind a vehicle grille, receiving good airflow. For your situation, I would recommend a different product. The power steering cooler, # D13310, that you referenced will help, but the lack of airflow will probably not give you the results you are looking for. Instead, I recommend looking...

  • Can a Derale Transmission Cooler be Used with an Allison 2200MH Transmission on a Motorhome
On the Allison transmissions you would need to go to a larger hose and fittings to avoid any problems when using a transmission cooler such as # D13403. But what I recommend is to use core # D54012 which does have -12AN fittings already. The largest inner diameter hose we have is 1/2 inch such as # D15799 so if you do need larger hose it would need to be obtained locally.

  • Most Efficient Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500
The most efficient style of transmission cooler is the stacked plate style like the part # D54012 that you referenced. So for the largest one in this style you'd want the # D54010 which measures 13W x 13-7/8T x 2D Inch and you'd have an extremely efficient cooler. To complete the installation you will want two of the barb hose fittings, part # D98202, replacement rubber hose # D15799, hose clamps # D13008 and insta-dapt radiator adapter # D13004. The mounting kit is # D50020.

The Derale Stacked-Plate Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Sandwich Adapter (Multiple Threads) - Class III, item # D15605, will work on the 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT. The engine filter thread size is one of two sizes on the caliber,3/4-16 or 20 mm x 1.5mm, so you will need to determine which (included) sleeve nut will be used. • Replacing the Hoses That Come With the Derale Direct-Mount Remote Cooler Kit # D20561
Yes, you can certainly replace the hoses to the Derale Direct-Mount Remote Cooler Kit # D20561 with a transmission hose by removing the clamps and using standard worm drive clamps. You can also reuse the fittings on the ends of the hoses as well. I confirmed this with my contact at Derale. We also have replacement hoses that you can find with parts # D15740, # D15700, and # D15799.

  • Type of Hose and Hose Clamps for Use with Oil Filter Relocation Kit
Oil pressure can vary as you can see on the gauge of your dashboard when the engine is running. With our oil filter relocation kits like the part # D15707 that you referenced we recommend high temp hose like the part # D15799 and hose clamps like the part # D13008 and there isn't any issue with the lines or pressures. I would not run this type of hose without hose clamps though as that's most likely going to create a huge mess and potentially damage the engine.

On the Derale Remote Dual Oil Filter Mount Kit, # D15707, it allows you to put your filter in a convenient location for easier oil changes. It is a dual oil filter, so it will give you additional filtration and increased oil capacity, it does not allow you to bypass the oil filter. I would also recommend the Derale High-Temperature Replacement Hose for Engine Applications - 25' Long, # D15799,and the Derale Stainless Steel Hose Clamps (4 Piece), # D13008.

The Derale Premium Spin-On Adapter Kit - 3/4-16 Engine Filter Threads, item # D35703, is designed to replace the adapter that goes on the engine block filter landing. My reference guide only goes back to 1965 but I am confident that the 3/4-16 threads will work on your 1964 Ford motors. 312 CID translates to 5.1 Liters which is most likely what they now call the 5.0 liter Ford engine. Along with the spin on adapter you will need the Derale 1/2 inch NPT Male x 1/2 inch Barb Straight Hose...
