Ford 2022 F250. Does the capacity rating of the sumo springs reflect the added support capacity on the suspension or should the capacity rating match the anticipated load without considering the existing suspension?

Suspension enhancements don't increase the capacity of the suspension and are typically chosen based on the load that the truck will be handling. Too high of a capacity tends to give you a rough ride quality when unloaded because the enhancement is too stiff. Too low of a capacity and you'll have sag, uneven wear on your suspension, and bad handling.
