Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Access Rockstar Custom Mudflat. This is considered a full width design with a nice diamond plate on the bottom part. Now this is for 2023 to current Ford F-250 and 350 Super Duties with and without those fender flares. So this fits a lot of those different trucks so make sure you're double checking the fit guide.

Be sure you're getting the right parts the very first time. Now again, these are full width, so they're gonna shield you from mud, rocks, road debris, those kind of things. And they're also gonna protect your towed trailer, camper boat, whatever it is, snowmobile, ATV, et cetera, from that debris kicking up as well. And because of the full width design, it's gonna give you maximum protection compared to your stock standard mud flaps. Now what's neat about these is they're gonna give you that complete, full protection like I mentioned.

But if we come over here to the passenger side, you can see I've got these brackets kinda loosely fitted. You're gonna install this part only, this little L bracket here on the underside of the truck per the instructions. And then you have these spring pins here that you can easily open and pull off when it's time to install or uninstall the mud flap. And then it'll just come down and off so you don't have to leave these on full time. It's as simple as pulling a couple pins and just like that, you're ready to go.

Now also on this passenger side is the heat shield. And unfortunately if I turn it out, it's gonna be upside down. So I wanna just pull back to my wide angle here and kind of just turn this around manually. It's gonna do a couple things. Now you can kind of see the makeup of it.

So again, there's that heat shield and if you kind of look, there's spacers in between there. There's nuts they give you and stuff. And that gives you that extra space for the heat. And then these two steel bars that come right and meet in the middle. And there's another half inch thick bar inside of there that you can't see that is linking the two together. So it's given you lots of strength. And this is heavy duty, 5/16 inch thick rubber as far as the mud flap itself. And again, then you got the steel on top that has this kind of rubberized coating as well to protect it. So again, folks, all of that combined is gonna make it super stiff. You're not gonna have your extra flap on those kind of things. It's actually going to decrease ice and mud built up as well. And this rubber's made to maintain its flexibility in temperatures all the way down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Now the frame that I showed you on the back, all of that is stainless steel and aluminum as far as all the components like these brackets, the nuts and bolts and everything as well. So everything's been coated with an extreme coating to where you don't have to worry about corrosion, rust, anything like that. And again, it's a really simple installation. There's mounting brackets that just simply use existing holes and existing hardware that's already on your truck. Now what I like about it is it matches the contour of the vehicle really nice.
