Question:
Hi, My vehicle is a 2021 Ford F250 Super Duty long bed. I tow a 27foot travel trailer with weight distribution hitch tongue weight approx 650lbs while hauling a full dress motorcycle approx 870lbs in the truck bed. A ramp system for loading the MC about 400lbs lives in the truck bed. With passengers and incidental gear total payload could be pushing 2400lbs. With trailer hitched and MC loaded theres about 1inch rear sag that cant be corrected with hitch adjustment.... MC unloaded no sag and level. Asking myself, and now you, the same question as many others... Where is the cross over point? Go with the SSR-127-47 Sumo Spring or step up to the 54 and perhaps risk harsher ride when unloaded?

Hey Jeff, so you are going to want the higher rated SumoSprings kit part # SSR-127-54 over the lower rated one because you are on the higher end of the weight capacity of your truck. In other words you have so much weight in the bed of your truck, in your truck, plus the tongue weight of your truck that you'd need as much support as you can get.
Now with that said if you have a properly rated weight distribution system that is is setup properly and you are still seeing one inch of suspension sag you are PROBABLY over the weight capacity of the truck...so you'd want to check that as well to be safe.

Hey Jeff, how did things turn out after going with the higher-rated SumoSprings for your F250? Did they give you the extra support you needed when towing and hauling the motorcycle? Your update could make it easier for others balancing similar loads.
