  Hey Charles, that's not going to work. I took a look at the Thule WingBar item # TH711320 you were asking about. It's only 50" long compared to the 53" long item # TH711420 Thule recommends. You can go longer on crossbars designed like this but you can't go shorter. The feet that attach to the raised rails on your Ascent's roof won't be able to connect to the track on the bottom of the crossbar if you go shorter.   Hi Bill; the limit for the # RR74GE is 165 lbs. The Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack # TH62VA and # TH52ZA can both handle 220 lbs. For some reason those pages are showing incorrect capacities at 165 lbs but the components are rated for 220 lbs and they are also listed as 220 lbs in the Thule instructions. Keep in mind, your 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe roof probably can't support that much. Make sure to consult your owner's manual for the roof capacity.

If you already have 50" bars you can try to install them on your raised rails using the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401. If there is any overhang it won't be much. If they fall short you can always sell them and replace them with the 53" # TH711420.
