Can Thule Hullavator Install on Thule Aeroblade Crossbars without Adapter

I am trying to mount this rack to my Yakima cross bars and the end plugs step 1 are for a small rectangle hole not a aerodynamic cross bar. Does Thule make an adaptor kit or end cap?

Expert Reply:
The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 is compatible with the Aero Bars # TH711420 that you referenced. You will not need any adapters for this. I have attached our review video where the Hullavator has actually been installed on Thule Aeroblade crossbars.
If you you start at step 5 of the instructions which are attached too you can see how the rack installs on Aeroblade bars with a channel on top of the bars. The end caps you mentioned are not needed.

Thank you soooo much for this post. I have the Thule Aero bars and couldn't figure things out until I read this post. It did feel a little unnatural the way the bar had to be mounted and the length of the bolt punctured a hole into the inside of the Aero bar. (Yes I used the correct bolt) Oh and don't forget to re-install the Aero bar caps BEFORE tightening the supporting bracket since the cap ends rotate into place below the support bar. Look careful between Step 5 and Step 6. Step 5 shows cap not present. Step 6 shows cap installed and present.
