Mounting a Thule Cargo Carrier on 2017 Chevy Colorado

Jameson, It probably doesn’t matter but we use the Thule Force Roof box instead of the basket. Are the mounting parts you referenced the same for the box as the basket?

I wish there was a great solution that would allow you to install a ladder rack with your tonneau cover but the only ladder racks we offer that can fit with your tonneau would have a load bar spread that would be too wide.

What about a roof rack for the cargo carrier?

Thanks for your response. A roof rack for the Thule would work but I was hoping to make access easier for both my wife and I but that may be our best option.

I would agree a roof rack is your best option. So for that the Thule Wingbar Evo part # TH711420, # TH480R, and # THKIT1714 would be what you'd want for your Thule basket. This rack is very easy to install/use and gives the most aerodynamic shaped crossbars available so wind noise would be minimized.

Yep! Your Thule Force XT part # TH6358B would fit and work well with same parts.
