The Thule AeroBlade bars are being discontinued, but if you already have them they will work with the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs # TH898 (even if it is an older model). That is provided the bars are long enough. The Hullavator needs at least 4-8 inches of crossbar length beyond the feet of your roof rack to ensure clearance on the side of your vehicle when lowered.

If you don't already have the crossbars, I recommend the new Thule WingBar Evo which come in the following lengths:

43" Long - Qty 2 # TH711120
47" Long - Qty 2 # TH711220
53" Long - Qty 2 # TH711420
60" Long - Qty 2 # TH711520

I bought a used/older Hullavator recently for my Evo Wing bars I purchased from you. It seems as though I dont have the right brackets to mount it on those bars? The brackets that came with it are U shaped and meant for square bars and I cannot figure out how to install on the Evo bars.

Sounds like you have the Hullavator 897XT. If you only have the hardware for mounting this on square bars then you'll need the following to fit it on the WingBar Evo crossbars: Shim - # TH56JV (x4) Square Nut - # 853-7557 (x4) M6 Washer - # 951061254 (x8) M6 x 30 Cap Screw - # TH919063054 (x4) Hex Nut - # 936060054 (x4) M6 x 12 Bolt - # 924-061-254 (x4)

@JonG I do! would the XADAPT11 work or only the parts you listed?

@SamanthaD Even though some of the parts are the same, it doesn't look like the XADAPT11 has everything you need and that plate is designed to fit with the other Thule kayak carriers. The Hullavator carriers normally come with everything needed to fit the T-Slot so the adapter kit isn't designed to accommodate them.

Jason, I just purchased the 53" Wingbar Evo for my 2020 Ford Ranger. They do not give me the 4-8" required for the Hullavator (I wasn't planning to get a Hullavator originally). I see that there is a 60" version, but I get a message that they won't work with my Ranger. Why is that?

@RickT So the tracks that run on the underside of the crossbar that the feet of the rack attach to do not run the entire length of the bar. So if you go with a longer bar it might be that it fits but it also might not work at all. If you check on the underside of your current bars how much additional track is there to the inside of the feet of your rack? If there's at least 3.5 inches on both sides then the longer bar would fit.
