Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this cargo box kit for your Thule Caprock Platform Rack. Now, this kit is going to let you mount your cargo box on your Caprock platform by adding these two crossbars above your platform to secure your cargo box installation. Now, before we go any further here, lemme see if I can set this back on my table here and get my tape measure here, and just to give you some overall measurements. So, looking at that overall length simply from end to end, we're sitting almost 32 inches long.

I think technically we're gonna be sitting at 31 and 15-16th inches long. (tape measure rattling) And then the overall width (tape measure rattling) right at two and a quarter inches. And then the height, this is going to be sitting right about, right at about two and a half inches tall. And overall these are going to weigh about four pounds, so not terribly heavy. It's not gonna be adding a whole bunch of weight.

They are aluminum, so not, (hand tapping) not only are they gonna be relatively lightweight, but very durable as well. So, this is gonna be an easy, reliable attachment. It's going to mount to the channels and it's going to hold your rooftop box firmly on your platform. And this is basically, an all in one kit. You're gonna get the two crossbars, the four mounting points here, and you're also going to get these strips that you're gonna go ahead and put into the channels to keep it free from dirt, moisture, things like that.

You will also get instructions to guide you through the installation process. So, it should be a pretty quick install, high quality product here from Thule, as I'm sure that is, no surprise.
