Hello.! I have a VW Tiguan 2018 and just bought a roof tent, so I will like to know what kind of cross bars are the appropriate to support the weight of the tent + 2 persons. Thanks in advance for your support.!

Hi Adilson; if you just want a simple roof rack you will only use with the tent then the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG215 you looked at will do the trick. If you plan to keep this on all the time I would get the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack # TH52ZA or # TH62VA instead. The WingBar Evo bars will be a lot quieter so you won't have all that road noise driving around without the tent on your vehicle. They all show a capacity of 165 lbs but that is for standard use while driving. Static capacity will be higher so you will be able to use your tent.

Hi Robin...! Thanks for your prompt response and for your orientation. The Thule option is a little bit off my budget so I think I will go for the Malone ones. Do you have a physical store near LA? If not I will buy it on line. Again thanks for your support! Adilson
