This step opens when the door opens and pulls back in when the door closes, so you don’t have to bend or lift anything by hand. The included motor, control unit, and switch kit handle all the movement automatically. A built-in override lets you keep the step extended while parked, and the ignition tie-in retracts it when the engine starts. It’s a seamless way to make entry and exit effortless.
An amber C193 incandescent light turns on when the step extends, making it easy to see after dark. The 23-7/8" wide x 10-1/4" deep tread has a non-slip surface and reflective strips, helping prevent slips in wet or low-light conditions. The 7" drop/rise feels natural, like climbing normal stairs, and gives steady footing for everyone, including pets or kids.
The steel step assembly is powder coated to resist corrosion, and every electrical component—including the motor and wiring—is sealed and waterproof. That means you don’t need any extra covers or protection. Solid steel drive rods, stainless steel bushings, and air-pressed rivets at each pivot point keep the mechanism strong and smooth through years of use.
When folded, the step measures only 5-1/8" tall, keeping it tucked up close for better ground clearance. Extended, it reaches 10-3/4" high and supports up to 300 lbs without flexing. The 24-1/4" wide x 12-1/4" deep mounting plate fits most setups that have at least 25" of space, and the 4-way plug ties into the existing wiring harness for a clean, reliable connection.
Everything needed to get the step powered and working comes in the box—motor, control unit, switch kit, and light. The wiring harness connects through a standard 4-way plug, and the included pigtail makes hardwiring simple if needed. Once bolted into place, the step syncs to the door instantly for automatic operation every time you open or close it.

We have it on our bus. Very hard for Senior Citizens to get in with out it.
We have not installed step as of yet but all looks good and the delivery time etc was absolutely excellent. It was sent from eastern USA to Vancouver Island on west coast Canada in very short order.

I had ordered one from a competitor before ordering from etrailer.com.when it arrived it was wrong step (not even close) Fast shipping!
I ordered on a Monday and received on Thursday. It took longer to remove old step than to install the new one .
Make sure you have replacement mounting bolts incase the old ones break. 3 out of 4 of mine broke.

After a year they are still working great. A little work to install but they are made to fit most any RV
