This electric step assembly opens automatically when you swing the door open and retracts when you close it, so you don’t have to step up awkwardly or worry about leaving it out while traveling. The included motor and control unit handle the movement for you, while a switch kit lets you lock the step in the extended position when parked.
Built from sturdy, powder coated steel with solid steel drive rods and stainless steel bushings, this step feels stable underfoot. The single 30" wide step has a 4-5/8" drop/rise and supports up to 300 lbs without flexing. Non-slip tread and reflective strips help you see and stay secure, even when it’s dark or wet.
Safety features are built in so you can relax. The motor retracts the step if it hits an obstacle, and an ignition override automatically pulls it in when the engine starts. The amber incandescent light (C193 bulb) turns on with the step, making it easy to spot at night.
With a folded height of 5-3/4" and extended height of 6-3/8", this step tucks neatly under your rig when not in use. The 29-7/8" wide x 11-3/8" deep mounting plate with a 26" x 8" bolt pattern fits standard brackets, and weatherproof wiring keeps everything working through the seasons.
Everything you need is included—motor, control unit, switch kit, and light—plus a 4-way plug that connects to your existing harness. If your setup doesn’t already have that plug, a 4-way pigtail is included for easy hardwiring.

This step is a big upgrade from the original steps. Much better mechanism and smoother operating than the original.
Box came damaged and opened. The step arm is bent as well on one side. Hole in the bottom of the box where the bent portion was sticking out.

Fast and easy transaction.
