Includes control unit, switch kit, and hardware.I was impressed with the new motor/gear box, control unit and switches. The thickness of the cardboard box was no match for the weight of the motor. The motor almost escaped it's containment during shipping. I did not have to use the new switch since my door switch was a 'Normally Open Style'. The installation was simple and the step and all the features work well. I am HAPPY.
The Rv is a 2000 so I thought there might be a problem getting replacement parts. The new motor and gearbox fit perfectly!

This was a rebuild kit for the Kwikee Series 28 motorized step on my motor home. The control unit that originally came with the step assembly had failed, so the step would extend, but not retract. I could not simply buy a replacement control unit because it was obsolete. (The unit is over 17 years old.) This kit included a new motor/gear linkage assembly, the controller, integrated wiring harness, and hardware. The instructions included with the kit were very detailed, but really not needed because it was simply a matter of removing the old hardwire and installing the new. Even the wiring was the same. I now have a step that works like it's supposed to.

The package came the day it was supposed to. Install was reasonably easy, on my 1994 travelaire motorhome with a few wiring issues. Overall a great product.
The Kwikee update kit that I purchased a year ago from etrailer, breathed new life into my 2000 vintage step and it has operated flawlessly ever since. Thanks etrailer!
Everything worked great easy to install. Have to be careful to order the right one there is a series 28 and series 28A and they take different model replacement kits.
The new controls matched up and was a good and quick change out. If I would have put my man instinct aside and read all of the instructions and changed out the door sensor I would have been done sooner. Thanks for a good price and product.
