Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the replacement pad for your Thule kayak carriers. This is going to be a six-inch pad to go on the ends of your roof-mounted kayak carrier to help protect the hull of your boat from any kind of damage.So it's just going to be this covered, basically, foam pad that's going to go around the ends of your carrier. It's got a little hook and loop closure to help keep that in place. Maybe this flew off, got bumped off, ripped up, or damaged in some kind of way, this is going to be a direct replacement from Thule to get that back on your carrier.So let's take a closer look and make sure it's the right fit for your particular carrier. Again, this does measure six inches from side-to-side.
So six inches there. About closer to six and a half inches longways.It just opens up. We'll have those layers of foam to help protect our carrier and also our kayak or any other watercraft that we're using with this. This works with the Hull-a-Port and Hull-a-Port Pro, as well as the Hullavator and Hullavator Pro. For the actual part numbers, you can see those listed on our product page here at etrailer.com.

Pads still working wonderfully! We do remove the hulivator in the winter to save uv damage.
My kayak cushions finally wore out so I ordered replacements from etrailer.The price was reasonable and delivery was prompt.I bought a F150 back in 2015 and purchased my roof cross bar, tonneau cover and metal cargo carrier all from etrailer and 8 years later they're all still in good condition. The only issue I've ever had was losing a bracket for my cargo carrier and I tried to order replacement from etrailer but they sent me the bracket free of charge.So I would recommend etrailer for all your car/truck accessories .

great for protecting my kaya on the rac k.
I had to replace two of these that were on the rack for over 10 years, which is a lot to endure. So I'd say that they are good product.
etrailer provides great communication and quick shipping.
The replacement pads for my Thule kayak racks fit perfectly and I'm excited about the new tie down strap loops.

The Thule replacement pads were perfect! I bought them to replace the ones that I had on my car’s kayak rack for the last six years. The old ones were ok but they had faded I wanted new ones. The service was EXCELLENT! I had originally ordered online one of each pad. Then a little while later I realize that I really needed two of each pad. When I called, the service department was excellent. Donna P. corrected my order for me. Donna P. was a pleasure to speak with and I even revived a follow up email. I received my order in a very reasonable amount of time. This is the second time I have ordered from this company and I will order any future needs I may have from Etrailer!
I needed replacement foam pads for my Thule kayak racks so I went online to search for them. That's how I found etrailer.com. They had exactly what I needed so I ordered them. The price was fair and I received the pads a few days later. I replaced my old pads and the new ones fit great. I would recommend etrailer.com for accessories and parts. They carry many!
We ordered the 6" Thule replacement pads for our Thule Kayak Racks we bought in 2009. It was easy to pull off the old ones and slide on the new ones; didn't even need to remove the kayak racks from the roof when we installed the new ones. Works great and the Kayak Rack now looks the way we bought it 10 years ago. Highly recommend buying these if yours are to torn & worn out. The price of these pads at eTrailer is very competitive and the service they provided was excellent

Perfectly!!
My rack is a Yakima Showdown. It is not well padded. These pads add protection to the rack and keep my kayak from getting scratched. Communication from etrailer was great, fast shipping. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
I needed a new cover for my kayak carrier , the old one was at least 10 years old and shredding. I found a new cover at etrailer that fit. I ordered it and it came within a couple of days. it is in excellent condition.
