is there any product like this that can be used in the yak tracks only, not the cross bars?

The anchor plates that fit into Yakima roof tracks are the part # Y8810074 which is 3/4 inches wide. This is the same width as the anchor bolts of the # Y01162 which is designed to fit Yakima crossbar top channels. So the # Y01162 would work well directly into Yakima roof channels.
